Oh what a treat! This restaurant has such a lovely atmosphere. Old wooden floors, exposed venting, and the decor so charming. It is very spacious inside and kept nice and uncluttered. The staff polite and friendly. There’s seating upstairs as well, which we did choose and had a lovely view. The food absolutely amazing!!!

I ate dinner at 6pm on a Wednesday here with a party of four, and everything was amazing! The food was great and looked nice, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable, and it wasn’t crowded at all! The fried mushrooms are a tasty appetizer (and they come with AMAZING honey mustard), the blackened chicken alfredo is really good and has a lot of flavor, the catfish was nice and crispy, and the steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The only thing I would change is the dinner rolls, they’re a little too greasy for my liking. But everything else was perfect, I will definitely be coming back here!

The steak was flavored really well, but it was sirloin and was tough. My husband ordered ribeye though and his was great.
I felt like the loaded potato skins were really overpriced. Pretty sure they were 10.99. They barely had any toppings and there were like 7 slices of potato. The mushrooms though, were massive and really good! I liked dipping them in ranch much better than the honey mustard.
The sweet tea wasn’t really sweet.
Our server was great & super attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised, considering how young he was.
When the piano wasn’t playing, their music through the speaker was far too loud. The piano was kind of loud. But not terrible. It just wasn’t a relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, it was a good meal but I feel like it was overpriced. I can’t see myself going back.

The steak was perfect. Seared, seasoned and tasty. It was busy so we sat in the bar. Make a reservation early to sit Lakeside with the view. Great bar selection as well. The service was very friendly and down to earth.

Edited: This review was for Greens in Eddyville. For some reason its closed now. Was a great experience. Unique nice place. We finally tried it. Very friendly people. Open dining area and comfortable feeling. Service was very attentive. Food had good flavor. Pics posted. Prices reasonable. Great menu selections to choose from.

I’m glad I asked what the ‘favorite’ is on the menu! I ordered Guish’s stuffed chicken w/ asparagus and I ordered Brussel sprouts. Wow! What an excellent meal. On the plate is a fried biscuit too… not just a piece of bread. Yum!! The service is excellent and the atmosphere features beautiful live piano music. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Green’s Steakhouse is possibly one of the most adorable, rustic places I’ve been to in a very long time. The service was great, the atmosphere was on point, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. We can’t stop talking about every detail of our dishes. Incredible dinner. 10/10 would absolutely dine again.

It isn’t a “steakhouse”, it’s a family restaurant. And it’s a good family restaurant.
I ordered the ribeye with loaded potato and Caesar salad. The steak had a good flavor and was cooked to temp but a little tough. The service was good.
If you’re in the area, worth stopping in for sure.

Sometimes you find something that you like SO MUCH you just need to share! We have not been out to eat in a LONG time, tonight we went to GREENS Steak House in Madisonville KY located on Main St. This was probably one of the best restaurant meals we have EVER had! We ordered a variety of items, there where 5 people in our party, and EVERYONE agreed that it was AMAZING! Best steak I have ever had in my life! The owner came out, was as nice as could be, our server’s name was Sara she was perfect! Very friendly, and did her job unbelievable! We never had an empty glass, nor a dirty plate on our table. 5 star server! And last but not least, the cooks! WOW! Whoever is back in that kitchen cooking really knows what they are doing! If you decide to treat yourself and want to pick a good place try this steak house! (Prices are in line with what a good steak house would be) Please support these local businesses! You will not be disappointed if you eat here! We absolutely loved it! I hope this review & recommendation makes it’s way back to the owner,staff,server & cooks

Wonderful! They have the best food!! The service was fast. The food was superb!
