My daughter and I took off work early. When we walked in we were met with those beautiful women behind the counter they were smiling and very welcoming we felt very comfortable there. The place was very clean it was a oasis in the middle of the desert. The food was excellent the portions were nice and the cakes were divine. I encourage everyone to try this place.

I want to tell you how amazing the owners and workers of this restaurant are! We came in after church to celebrate with 12 people, the place was pretty packed, but that didn’t discourage them, the two beautiful young ladies at the front counter rocked every order while overwhelming as it had seemed they still had a positive attitude and a smile on their face! They all communicated very well, letting us know that it will be a 45min wait soon as we walked in, however we decided to AND IM HAPPY WE DID! All our food came out hot and wonderful, and for 12 big orders nobody was disappointed! The owners wife was so nice an even under pressure she made us all feel good an welcome. Our food was amazing the Turkey ribs were tender and the sauce was wonderfully made, the Turkey chips didn’t disappoint either! My niece even did a little dance while enjoying the Oxtails! We recommend trying the fried potatoes, Turkey chops cabbage and our absolute favorite the greens and rice mix!!!!! Hands down the best! One of the best comfort food places in Indy!! If you’re looking for a place to eat that feels like a mothers kitchen then you have to try it! Thank you all for the great service ever!!

I’ve tried this place a couple times. They’ve even called me back to clarify an online order. I had oxtails with rice and gravy, cabbage, pinto beans
Oxtails large n tender, beans ok, BUT BABY they gave me mush for cabbage. It was either boiled to death or left in hot water all day. They wrong for that! I threw it away!

We previously ordered lamb chops and loved them but the sides were average at best; but we decided to try again.
First off, we got smothered chicken but someone forgot to smother the chicken. The Mac & cheese tastes like they season it with either ginger or tumeric. The fried potatoes were unseasoned & undercooked. I’ll just simplify the rest…. all of the sides were weirdly seasoned. It seems like the cook is just picking up the nearest seasoning and drowning the food with it. The salmon patties were tasty though. THEY REALLY COULD HAVE STAYED CLOSED PERMANENTLY!

Fried chicken wings w/ gold sauce, catfish, spaghetti, greens and honey cornbread were freshly made and scrumptious! Mac and cheese lacked flavor and cheese.

I LOVE the food here!! This food is addictive and sings to my taste buds and soul!! The service is like dealing with that aunt that you like but don’t like lol! Which gives the atmosphere a kind of family like feel. There’s not a lot of room but I am always happy to be there and stay to eat!

It was my mother of the church birthday and her granddaughter told us about this new restaurant called Greens N Things on shadeland. So we came and tried it for breakfast and had the Waffle and scramble eggs and sausages patty. Everything was delicious and we met Tina . Thank you so much.
