353 E Bonneville Ave STE 191, Las Vegas, NV 89101
The Door Dilemma ⭐⭐☆☆☆
Let me start with the elephant in the room – the doors. I genuinely thought this place had closed down when I first arrived. The E Bonneville Street entrance felt completely stuck, prompting me to walk around to the 4th Street entrance, only to find a sign directing me back to the “broken” Bonneville door. After returning and pulling with considerable force, I finally managed to get inside.
The door situation became even more concerning when I witnessed another customer struggling to exit. It took multiple people helping to pull the door open for him to leave. This is a serious accessibility and safety issue that desperately needs addressing – if you want customers, they need to be able to actually enter and exit your establishment!
The Bright Spots ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
Once inside, the experience improved dramatically. I ordered an Acai fruit smoothie, and it was absolutely delicious – exactly what I was hoping for from a health-focused establishment. The service was efficient with minimal wait time, and the cashier was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
The interior space is a definite highlight. The restaurant feels open, bright, and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying your healthy treats. I was particularly impressed with the original artwork adorning the walls – it adds character and shows attention to creating a unique dining environment.
Practical Considerations
Parking is limited to street parking, which can be challenging in this area. I was fortunate that my husband could drop me off and pick me up, but this might be a consideration for some visitors.
Final Verdict ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
Protein and Greens serves quality products in a lovely environment with friendly staff. The smoothie was excellent, and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from a health-conscious eatery. However, the door accessibility issues are significant enough to impact my overall rating and future visit decisions.
Would I return?** The food and service were great, but honestly, if I had other easily accessible locations to choose from, I’d probably opt for those instead. Fix the doors, and this could easily be a four or five-star experience.
Recommendation:** Great for the food and atmosphere, but be prepared for a workout just getting in and out. Management should prioritize fixing these entrance issues immediately – it’s affecting both customer experience and potentially violating accessibility standards.
The woman working there was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.
The parking is off the street, like everywhere else in downtown.
The store is vibrant, trendy with inviting atmosphere.
Love their HEALTHY GREAT food, clean and healthy, lots of choices! Love their smoothies, they’re not too sweet and sugary tasting like at some other places . They are so filling and delicious and full of protein.
Very casual, friendly and welcoming staff! If you’re looking for healthy eats, Greens and Proteins is for you. They have a variety of food to choose from and they are able to accommodate those who have specific diet needs(vegan, vegetarian, etc). So that makes me happy. Everything is prepared fresh and the quality of food is superb!!!
The restaurant is very clean and inviting. I highly recommend this place!
40 minutes and 25 dollars later I end up with a “salmon teriyaki bowl” with no teriyaki, some chunks of dry flavorless chopped up salmon (odd, expected a filet), missing veggies, and a sad little old tiny order of fries that were presumably sitting there the whole time I waited for the salmon. There’s absolutely no way the salmon constituted 50 grams of protein as listed.
I’ve been here many times and ordered many different items. Staff is always friendly, the wait isn’t usually too bad, and sometimes the food is good (best to stick with the pizzas/smoothies), but there is almost always something missing or wrong. I might give it another try one day but for now I’m done.
If you decide to give it a try, good luck. I really recommend sticking with the pizza and smoothies as those usually have the least mistakes. Usually.
Today was horrible!!
this is definitely the last time I’ll come.
First- the lady in the counter (she didn’t have a name tag but a dark skin lady) was very grumpy, the counter was very dirty and had a long disgusting hair on it, we repeated our order 3 times and the lady still made it wrong, we asked no cheese and she put cheese on both.
She served us the salads with no gloves while her thumb was literally in my salad when she served it, and didn’t bring us cutlery!!
We also we wanted large salad and she gave us the small one, when I told her we wanted the large one she said “well you have to tell me the size you want” with an attitude, I thought her job to ask what option the customer want to order.
She didn’t even apologise and made it look like it’s my fault.
Very rude person , very dirty place, salad was below standard.
WILL NOT RECOMMEND GOING THERE, plenty of other options for salads around.
