We got a special, chips and curry sauce for tea tonight. As always, it was amazing. The fish is cooked to perfection with the chips being just right. The curry sauce is tasty and tangy too, with scraps and a breadcake for £14 it is definitely value for money and I’d recommend it to everyone.

This is a small local fish shop near Kipling’s and The Cracker Barrel.
The fish is superb and always well cooked and a very generous size.
The standard portion of chips is enough for two people and certainly way too much for me.
I always order a small portion.
There are all the other things you’d expect on offer, sausage, scampi, peas, curry sauce etc etc.

I have lived in many areas of Leeds & Bradford and have always been lucky to live near a good chippy but this place is the best I’ve had the good fortune to call my local it absolutely outstanding! Greengates Fisheries is a true gem in Bradford. The food here is second to none – perfectly cooked, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was an experience in itself, and it’s clear that quality is their top priority.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and making you feel valued. The premises are spotless, which adds to the overall fantastic experience.
While everything about this place is top-notch, the food is undoubtedly the star of the show. If you’re looking for the best fish and chips around, look no further. Highly recommend!

My cub group hiked here and ordered themselves fish and chips. The staff were amazing. They were so patient with the kids and had plenty of food ready so we were all served quickly. The food was excellent too. Thank you!

Worked at stylo shoes 20 years ago. I used a fish shop on a lunchtime sometimes. Not sure if this is the same place. But the fish and chips were gorgeous from there. I noticed this place after taking my wife to watch the planes at LBA. Thought it could have been the same place. So we tried it. I’ve got to say, they were absolutely beautiful. Fish was meaty and very flavoursome, and my wife enjoyed the chips immensely. Ate everything, can’t wait to where back in the vicinity for round two.

I called in spontaneously after getting stuck in traffic due to roadworks and WOW, I’m glad I did! Absolutely lovely!! Perfectly cooked fish and proper chippy chips!! Great portion size and good value for money. Staff are refreshingly friendly and obliging. They don’t appear to make conversation for the sake of it, they’re actually naturally engaging with their customers! Would recommend highly!!!! 5star across the board.
