My husband & I went around 6:30 on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but we were able to be seated right away. The servers were very friendly & service started out great, but it went downhill pretty fast. Everyone was still super nice, but maybe they were short staffed because we always had to wave someone down to get another drink or the bill. I ordered the fried haddock with fries & it was very good. My husband ordered the Honey Jack Chicken Wrap & was disappointed. He mentioned that the cheese was not melted & there was not much sauce, or it was masked by something else. I thought the coleslaw had a strong vinegar taste so it could’ve been that.
I’ve been here before & it was good so I’ll still go back. Just an off night.

The staff is nice but I had to ask for silverware and I had to ask for ketchup, I was never asked if everything was OK.
I had several French fries that were not even cooked, they were raw. The road beef was extremely salty. Of course that could just be me.

We stopped at Greene’s Pour House at the Granary during a road trip from Milwaukee to Wausau, hoping to find something unique and local instead of the usual interstate fast food. Although it was a bit off the beaten path, driving through the university area and catching glimpses of the river made for a charming detour.
The venue itself had a real great atmosphere, and the selection of beers on tap was impressive. From Wisconsin staples like Spotted Cow to an array of microbrewery options, there was something for every beer lover.
For appetizers, we went with a dozen wings (dry rub, lemon pepper) and a pretzel served with beer cheese and honey mustard dips. The wings were solid—good size and cooked well—but the dips were the real stars. The beer cheese, in particular, was some of the best I’ve had, rich and flavorful.
Being Friday in Wisconsin, I couldn’t pass up the fish fry. It was decent—not the best I’ve ever had, but still satisfying. I swapped the fries for tots, which turned out to be a great choice.
Despite it being a busy Friday night, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We waited about 15–20 minutes for a table but were given the option to dine at the bar, which was a nice touch.
Overall, Greene’s Pour House is a great spot if you’re looking for good beer, great appetizers, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Definitely worth the detour!

A bit busy when hosting private parties. I would not recommend at that time. Food was slow to the table and nearly had to take it with us to make the Herd game. Nice atmosphere (a bit tight at the bar) and decent food. Attentive wait staff. Overall a decent pick when nothing unexpected is happening in or nearby. Get there very early if attending a Herd game.

Stopped in for Restaurant week and the place was hoppin! Brinley, our server, was the only server and she was killing it! (as a business owner, it is hard to predict staffing) this girl managed the busy very well, our food came out quick, she was on our drinks and had our checks ready to go. We love their flatbread pizza’s! The S’mores dessert was the favorite of the group…Oh, I liked the curry chicken appetizer too, so much food! BUT, the star of the day was BRINLEY!

The tots, cheese curds, and wings were perfect. Crispy and tasty. The Jamican Jerk chicken Sandwich and the blackened chicken sandwich were both delicious. However, they had small chicken portions, so it was a lot of bread. In addition, one of the wings was bone no meat piece that shouldve been tossed out. They deducted it from the recipt though. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms as well. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

All I had was a couple of cups of soup, an order of Loaded Tots and a few glasses of Coke, but everything was very tasty and had a nice presentation. On top of that, our waitress was helpful and attentive. I’m definitely looking forward to returning at some point in the near future and having an actual meal.

Stopped in last Friday. Very busy with only a few servers. Although we waited a little bit for our drinks and food, everyone was so great! It seems everyone, including management was working together to help customers and the entire staff was so friendly. Everything was totally worth the wait!

Dinner last night was terrible, the hamburger was dry and pre-made, the chicken sandwich was dry, overcooked, even crunchy on the edges, the Rueben was chopped up meat, sauce and sour kraut were mixed together like mush ,, the rye bread mushy soaked in butter it fell apart. We were seated right next to the kitchen door. There were fries and food on the floor where everyone stepped in, going into the kitchen. We waited one hour and 10 min., for our food, eventually nicely, asking how much longer. Even thinking about leaving. Also how could I forget the greasy cheese curds served in a bowl all melted together because the cheese ran out of them due to being Overcooked. We will never go back.
