I went there a few years ago. Better late than never. The old man at the front door wouldn’t let me and a friend in but the others in my group could come in. So accepting his snobby decision I went my merry way, then the entitled cooked for the event told me to move the traffic cones so he can get through. He made sure to tell me he is there cook for the place. I let him through and didn’t even get a thank you or offer to give me a favor. Not Impressed with this Shack.

First time going because I heard the place was nice and had an older crowd. I am female who is married to a woman. We were there with 13 other individuals (mix group). I walked away and was told the owner got on the mic; which later I heard for myself disrespecting same sex; homophobic as he would say and that we need to take that home because no one wants to see two woman dancing with each other. Then as we decide to leave the statement was made once again by the owner. If you don’t want us there don’t take our money or let us in. OUR MONEY SHOULDN’T be good if we aren’t good enough to come in, mind our business and have a good time. But to hear the owner of an establishment be that rude and disrespectful is a shame. It only takes one statement to mess up your entire business and needless to say we will not be returning!!!

Saturday night before Mother’s day was packed. Door charge of $20 per person. A nice mix of people having fun. DJ did well playing to mix of ages. Definitely will go back.

RIP Greens. I used to come here all the time but I haven’t been back since 2022 and sadly won’t ever return. The music was interrupted 3 times while I’m assuming the owner got on mic 3 times talking about the election, dress code, and giving shout outs. This was enough to kill the mood. Not to mention the lights now stay on the whole time. Also no one even checks for weapons when they used to. Downstairs toilet was absolutely disgusting and they only have 2. I’ve never left a club so early but I was so glad to leave and go home.

Locals love it!!! Very different experience, laid-back vibes, 30 plus crowd, the whole crowd loves to dance and will welcome you in to share the experience. I didn’t eat, but the food smelled good. Multiple bars spread through the building. My biggest drawback was the smoking inside and the line at the bathroom, but it was not enough that I wouldn’t return occasionally.

1st time here and I absolutely loved it.. Beaufort sc native.. we don’t have places like these anymore so it was a absolute treat to experience a atmosphere so smooth with grown folks doing grown folks things . We had a good time at green’s barbecue. We actually was club hopping that night of my sister’s 60 of birthday. So that was the second club that we went to. All we did was dance and have drinks. It also was a nice place to go to. The atmosphere was pretty cool.
