The Green door was featured in a magazine where the food editor stated that it is ” worth the drive from wherever you are to go to this place ” ,and I absolutely agree with him!!!
I absolutely recommend this place whether you live in town near the green door, or you are just traveling through, it is worth the stop.
Sue and the the crew work so hard and the food is amazing, the portion sizes are great, you definitely get what you paid for and more! They have specials, including a *date night diner for 2* and they have desserts and they have coffee drinks, great steaks, great burgers, fresh hand cut fries, great variety of appetizers and so on.
There Isn’t a thing on their menu that we’ve tried that we don’t like.

they have karaoke and games inside and it’s a really fun place for all ages.
*There is a huge Checkerboard to play on made by one of the locals , Karen Hirst.
*There is an extra large Jenga
*a very unique chess set , it’s really cool
*And there’s a section that has books
And music and movies if that’s more your thing , which I thought that was a fantastic option!!!
*The Green door has gone out of the way to make sure that there is something for everyone here and it is hands down my favorite place!!!!!!!
If you have little ones with you you’re in luck this place will keep them occupied.
Sue has put out so many different things for the kids to play with they will probably not be at your table much, because they’ll be off playing and having so much fun ( you can see them right from dining table you’re sitting at)
The only thing that will pull them away from the kids area will be when the food is delivered to your table

Sue, our waitress was absolutely hands down, fantastic. I have food allergies, and she made sure I was taken care of. My salad she went and cut in the little garden fresh herbs to go with my salad and meal. That is definitely going above and beyond. The fish and baked potato and home style fries were fantastic. Others in my party thought the food was top-notch. We were from out of town and so glad we decided on The Greendoor. Highly recommend.

Me and my boyfriend went out for dinner and right away the owners and staff so friendly! We had the date night special! The fries with gravy are best I’ve ever had the steak was cooked perfectly! They have so many fun games to play! We Will definitely be going back! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone because they have something for all ages!

Went for our anniversary supper as we wanted something different and new. We will go back! Sue (the owner) was amazing and even gave us an amazing tour of her garden and made us feel special on our special day. Heck, she even made us complimentary shots and sang to us while she brought them over! 🙂 highly recommend and we will definitely go again!
