I truly enjoyed this beer garden. I came in for the first time on a weekday evening and it was busy but not packed. I asked for recommendation on the bar for beers and they gave me some testers to choose. I decided to stay with a pineapple cider, which was fantastic. I do have to say that I noticed that the draft was not as cold as I normally prefer it. The vibes size were also nice. They do have an area that you can play games and relax. Since it was getting late, we also decided to grab a bite. We tried the Philly cheese which was cheesy and very delicious and also the Cuban sandwich was really good as well. Our favorite thing was the fries which were homemade. Overall, I would recommend.

I had a mixed experience in the Beer Garden. Good selection of beer and good food. I was enticed by the weekly event that they advertise. I stayed just for this event. By chance, I won the event, with $30 in vouchers to pay towards my tab. When I went to pay, the manager informed me that I couldn’t use these vouchers for my tab on this go-around. He said, you weren’t supposed to win 2 music bingos so I refuse to honor it. Be advised that this is an airport bar. I’m from Colorado and yet I live 2 hours away. Who’s coming back here to redeem $30 in bingo winnings on a separate night? Scammy event planning here geared at tourists. I don’t care about the money in beer savings, just don’t try to take advantage of Texans that way.
Come for the beer, don’t stay for the well-advertised events.

So I have lived in CO for over 20 years. Been to many different breweries and beer gardens. In fact went to this location last year and they didn’t have this automatic 20% service fee. Let’s be realistic here, i went up to order my food and pay. Then had to go up to get my food to bring to my table. This is no different that going to McDonald’s or any other fast food restaurant and I would never tip at these locations. Pay your staff an appropriate pay level and don’t expect your customer to have to do it for you. Especially since your food isn’t cheap and you beer cost me $11 for a 16oz pour. Seriously I pay that much on a ski mountain. And every brewery I’ve been to gets 7 to 9 a pint. This place isn’t that special. Won’t be coming back!
Also I’d be curious if the 20% in total gets distributed to the staff or does the management team/owners take a portion. I know places that have done this and that is an outright crime.
Update: thanks for the response and explanation. Interesting that you are trying to drive an equal pay type of environment when the jobs (customer facing and non-customer facing) are two different roles and one has a much bigger impact on the business results. In either case I wish you well with this business model.

Great place for getting a good beer. The service was really friendly and the team was good. I was there on a Monday night for a business trip. It is very conveniently located for most hotels. Furthest is maybe a 10mimite walk. Downside: no food. They offer food trucks but it isn’t great. Beer is fantastic. About 9 to choose from the say I went. Totally worth a try. Views outdoors were stunning.

A bit pricey when it is a automatic 20% charge on top of your bill. The food was great. Service a bit slow but drinks were great. Plenty of things to do outside and inside a wonderful fire feature. Add some ambience I wish the parking was a little bit more for the amount of people that can actually come to this place. Enjoyed it. It was clean when I was there.

Was a little apprehensive about a brew pub so far out of Denver proper but was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a Cuban sandwich, delicious. Lots of great local beers on tap. Bartenders happy to offer a taste. Felt a tiny bit expensive but hey, everything is. I really appreciated the 20% service fee. Worked in the service industry for many years, ensuring your staff makes a living wage AND making sure the back of the house gets a cut is awesome.

Amazing beer selection, delicious food menu, fun but chill atmosphere. Appreciate the outdoor activities that are available (Cornhole, giant Jenga, ping pong) and fireplaces.

We stopped by GVR Beer Garden for dinner after leaving the airport. The place was relatively busy, however we were able to order and get our food quickly.
We ordered, the Standard Burger, Philly Cheese Steak, and several appetizers, Tater Tots and Fried Pickles. The Burger and Cheese Steak were very delicious . However, the appetizers were very salty.
We ordered several draft which were very refreshing.
We like the atmosphere and the overall concept with the awesome indoor outdoor seating. They also had live entertainment during our visit. However, it’s extremely inconvenient to have to order food and alcohol at separate locations and pay for them separately.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.

4 stars because it’s a great place with very good food and beer, but the mandatory 20% service charge is ridiculous. You have to order your own food at the till, pick up your own food, get your own drink and tidy away your own rubbish! How on earth do they think they deserve a tip?!
