Enjoyed my first of many visits to Green Valley Cafe. I’m new in town for work and multiple people at work suggested eating here when I asked them what good in Hanford, GVC did not disappoint at all. From the great hospitality to the delicious food this restaurant checked all the boxes I was looking for and have earned a new customer for as long as I’m in town. I ordered a Western Omelette with Potatoes smothered in cheese, Biscuits and Gravy and a side of Bacon. I put some Gravy on my potatoes and they were HEAVENLY so happy to have found Good Home Cooking..

The food is filling, and prices are great especially for the amount of food you actually receive, and in this area that’s not easy to come by. I’ll most certainly be coming back here, and recommending this establishment to anyone looking for a great brunch spot in the area.

We went in on a rainy morning, and it was pretty busy inside. We were sat down by a kind lady and then someone else asked about our drinks and someone else about our order.
I ordered orange juice and it tasted very natural.
For our food, I ordered the ham skillet, it was pretty good with all the veggies, though it felt like it needed a bit of seasoning.
My husband ordered the Green Lovers Omelet, he said it was good but not the best, but he might be biased as he doesn’t really enjoy lots of vegetables in his meals. I can see why it’s called the “green lovers”. With my order, I was able to get the biscuits and gravy. I am not a big biscuits and gravy person but I can say it was good. Overall it’s a small cafe and pretty good.

I got the French double play French toast with sausage and scrambled eggs. We also got a california omelette and hashbrowns with sour dough toast. Hashbrowns were very crunchy and nicely done. sour dough toast was delicious with a little butter. French toast was outstanding!! Our waitress was very quick and extremely attentive and kind.

First off, despite it being busy, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff was super friendly and my coffee was never empty. I ordered corned beef hash, hash browns, eggs over medium, and a biscuit with gravy – all of it came out like five minutes after I ordered even though the place was pretty busy. This was my first time trying this place and I’m literally kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Definitely gonna be a regular spot for me.
