This is the only Chinese restaurant within the Newberry and Jonesville area, but you won’t need to look any further for good Chinese food. I’ve been a customer here since 2016 and have not once – not ever- been disappointed with my order. Food is always hot, fresh, and portions are BIG. We got 5 entrees tonight and everything was on point. Moo shu pork, Singapore Mei Fun, Shrimp fried rice, House special LoMein, and House special egg foo yung. Always fast, always great service and communication as well. Its not an eat in-type of place, so if you’re looking for that, go elsewhere. Perfect Chinese takeout venue.

Greentree for dinner last night did not disappoint. I had the Garlic Chicken combo and Hot and Sour Soup, and both were delicious. The combo came with an egg roll that was crispy and the fried rice was perfectly cooked. Great portions and everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend! I see they’ve had several bad reviews lately, but this is the first time I’ve eaten there in several years and found it to be good.

Beware. I work in the area close to this restaurant and me and a coworker order lunch from here today. I got their sesame chicken lunch special and the chicken was hard a rocks totally un-eatable. I called them and informed them of this and was basically told * too bad* we fry it that way and next time if you don’t want it hard let us know. Then proceed to disconnect the call. To say I’m very disappointed is an understatement they didn’t even apologize or seem concerned about it. I would think twice before going back here.

Very busy and some of the freshest Chinese I’ve had, every piece of general Tso chicken was good. The fried wontons (krab rangoons) are amazing also will be coming back forsure! The sesame chicken was perfect

Food is delicious but their prices have gotten pretty high. And they limit the packets of sauces now. Their prices are the problem. Not the food.

The lomein was over cooked and mooshy. The szechuan wontons were over cooked and so very salty. The vegetable rolls tiny tiny and the spicy brocoli was so salty you couldn’t eat it. This was aweful food!

Food was ok, we got general tsos chicken and it was pretty chewy and stringy, my husband thought it tasted like bleach, I didn’t really taste that but it wasn’t the best, they do give you a lot of meat though compared to most Chinese restaurants in the city. My daughters got the sweet and sour chicken and liked it

Ordered the appetizer, the popo plater, most of it was so bad threw it out, the rest of the food was fair.

We used to love this place and would get food here at least once a week. However, something has changed with their food. The meat seems to be fatty and has a lot of gristle. We also felt that the fried rice has severely dropped off in taste. However, the portions are great. Also, the pork egg rolls are AMAZING!

Small family Chinese restaurant with everything you expect from a NY style Chinese restaurant. Chicken fried rice is good and a decent price. Their lunch specials are a great value and worth stopping and trying. It gets busy during lunch because of the quality and price.
Try them out!!
