Green town on the rocks is free to the public. The only time they charge is for special events. Different food trucks every day. Look up Green town on the rocks to see who is playing and what food truck is going to be there. Bring your own chairs. Cash only bar.

Excellent little hideaway in Waukegan.
The food truck was great, excellent to be able to grab food right there.
Affordable drinks, great atmosphere with fire places, comfortable seating, and a breathtaking stage!
Plenty of parking right outside and not far off of the high way.
Would recommend for a chill, laid back experience.

The setting is really beautiful. There’s a small bar and usually a food truck! The best part of course is the music there’s a band shell and we have always had a wonderful time. The couches with the fire pit are charming and the view is amazing being by Waukegan Harbor!

Lovely place to hang out at the beach. Great stage and sound system; cool seating with fire pits, trees, etc. Drinks are a bit expensive, but large. Easy access, good food trucks available, and lots of parking… Glad l live nearby!

Nice atmosphere down at the harbor. Live music often. Can be a cool respite during hot summer day. Drinks are not too expensive, but not cheap. Just one complaint….the bar stools are the most uncomfortable possible. It’s been a few years now, upgrade please!

It’s not a large venue, but the bar staff was attentive and the food truck was a nice addition. The kids liked the ice cream just next door!
It’s tucked-away – you drive through an industrial rail yard to get there, but once on-site, it’s very nice (lots of trees)
I liked that the stage was separated from the bar – our band wasn’t overly loud, but if they were, the distance would make ordering drinks easier (you wouldn’t have to shout).
The restrooms were clean, and although no one walked around to tidy-up, our group did a good job themselves (more and better labeled trash/recycle cans would be a welcome addition).
