Dined at this restaurant while visiting Tennessee, and can honestly say, this is one the best places I have ever ate at. I tried Tammy’s Chicken Sandwich, some of their Green Fried Matters, Sweet tea, and of course, their home made biscuits. I genuinely feel as though I got a taste of southern hospitality, as the atmosphere and service was very warm & welcoming. The staff work so hard to ensure your visit is delightful (which indeed it was) and the waitresses were so kind and friendly. I will forever hold this little place in my heart, and cannot wait to return! An experience I will never forget! 5/5 , Highly recommend!!!

Love this place. Great huge homemade cheese logs. The pot roast was perfect. Negatives were it’s cold and mens bathroom needs renovation. Hole in the floor? Overall great place. Large potions. I’ll be back .

First time here after a recommendation from a friend. Food is pretty good. Exactly what you’d expect from a classic southern restaurant. The biscuits were absolutely to die for and the sweet tea wasn’t the instant crap – it was the good stuff. Fried green tomatoes were crispy and the sauce was like a Dijon mustard type. I didn’t super love my chicken fried steak, but the catfish was great! The kids loved their hot dogs. In general, it was a little under seasoned – could have used a smidge more salt on everything, but would still go back!

This place is a hidden gem. Been there many times and food has always been great. Too many great things to recommend. Only negative is a $3 charge for using debit card. That aside staff are nice and food is outstanding!

Went today with my church group and had a wonderful experience! The meatloaf was delicious and the fried green tomatoes and garlic biscuits were fantastic! The waitress Melanie was as nice as could be and served us very quickly! The prices are really good and I can’t wait to eat here again!

In town today while checking out a real estate opportunity. Had time for lunch before our 1pm appointment. My wife raved about the chicken and dumplings. I had the cheesy philly. Steak cooked to perfection.
Got out for under $40, including a nice tip.
Highly recommend!
Get there early. We rolled in around 11:30 and were seated right away. The large groups started showing up as we were finishing.

First time there fried green maters was delicious. But the garlic biscuits wasn’t hot he ordered ribs and shrimp the ribs was not warm at all. He couldn’t eat them. I don’t think it was worth 69.00 not sure worth the drive. The waitress was nice friendly took care of us .

We had the Salas for our appetizer. its amazingly fresh and so good.
Steak for dinner, came out a little undercooked but they fixed it right up and it was perfect.
Daughter raved about the kids spaghetti and asked for seconds lol
I has the dumplings * could use a bit more chicken * but taste was like home. Okra was good and the green tomatoes with the cajun mayo was perfect.

We had the Cajun Sticks as an appetizer and it was surprisingly awesome, looked great but tasted even better! My wife loved the chicken and dumplings. Being a person with a bigger appetite than most, I had to try the Big Dog. HUGE! It was a serious struggle to get it consumed. Great service and atmosphere just rounded out a great dinner.
