I enjoy Green Tomato restaurant. The food has been great each time I’ve been. 85% of the waitresses have been fantastic. They have one who is a doll. She will go above & beyond for you, even when you aren’t at her section. This was a great idea for Rome, Georgia because everyone needs vegetables & it being a buffet, I really enjoy it. They have an unbeatable price as well. When you can eat & get full for under $30 bucks for 3 people, that’s a heck of a deal. Happy hour is 3 – 5. The atmosphere is always just right, even when they’re packed. I highly recommend to everyone!

Our family ate the Thanksgiving buffet.
The food was delicious! We didn’t get anything that we had a complaint about. The sweet tea was on point! I could have took a gallon of it home. Our waitress Terica was awesome! She was attentive and friendly. Will definitely return soon! Highly recommend!

It’s a hit and miss with this place. Today the food wasn’t that good. The fried chicken was the only thing that was really good. orange chicken taste like it had ketchup! Bbq chicken tasted like ketchup with a hint of bbq sauce the chicken and dressing was sweet, the mayonnaise was sweet! The slaw was nasty too sweet.we were very disappointed! The 45$ we spent on this we could have done way better.its the same ole food every time we’ve went there. Don’t think we’ll be going back again.

Our first time was about a 7. Tonight was a 0. The waitresses are sweet, but the one tonight was a little slow on clearing the table and refilling tea.
Tonight I told my daughter let’s try that restaurant again. It was not bad for country food last week. I walked in there, especially for chicken livers, high protein meal. It takes a lot for something to be really bad that I won’t eat it and I would not eat these chicken livers. They weren’t chicken livers. I don’t know what the hell they cooked and deep-fried, but it was not chicken livers. It was more like Cartlidge. It was so chewy and there was no meat no liver there at all. I noticed that an hour and a half before closing they wouldn’t restock much of anything so you’re kind of stuck with what was left over. This might be good for other people but for me and my family we know better and we expect better I don’t think we’ll be returning. I could say more but I’m not going to. Figure it out start with the management.

Great food, all fresh. The pasta salad, cabbage, Lima beans, dinner roll, Mac and cheese, fried catfish were my favorites but I tried a little bit of everything. It was all well seasoned and each stood up well on their own. I can’t wait to come back

My wife and I have been there several times. Love the food. Service is very good. Prices are very fair. Most anyone can find something they like. Really good veggies and the rolls are amazing. I will definitely go back. The deserts aren’t the best in my opinion but I’m not a big desert.eater.

The reviews seemed good so we tried it out. The space where the food is, is pretty small. The gentleman at the cash register was not very personable. Waitresses were nice and prompt with drinks. The floor was super sticky. The number one thing for me was I couldn’t eat hardly any of it. The salad part of the Buffett was good but the “chicken tenders” and the catfish nuggets were awful. Mac & cheese was dry, desserts were dry. Nothing had taste. I was very disappointed.

The food is mostly out of a can. The mashed potatoes are flakes instant. No beef just chicken and pork products. Mostly Fried …and fried in seed oils to boot , totally tasteless food.

If you want nursing home food, this is the place to go. I watched a review on someone giving it great reviews and it turned out to be totally disgusting. Second rate food maybe fourth or fifth rate very disappointed. I gave it all two, but it deserves a negative. don’t waste your money unless you’re poor or old don’t even waste your time
