They pack the sushi with so much rice. I had to take off half of the rice of the nigiri sushi because it was definitely not bite size. One of the rolls tasted off and the shrimp sushi was definitely not right. As I was going to eat it, it smelled off and once I ate it, I had to spit it back out. I thought I was going to vomit. It seemed like the shrimp was sitting out too long and went bad. I couldn’t eat half of the sushi because it tasted off.

Nice gem on the backside Aggieville. Just to mention first, the staff is super friendly and nice. Food comes out in a reasonable time. If you have a taste of Ramen or sushi, good spot to stop in and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.

Almost no fish in the rolls. Supermarket and buffet sushi has more fish in their rolls. Get the cucumber specialty roll? Hope you like 99% cucumber. Also sushi was roller loose with too much rice.

Visited Green Tea Sushi while in Manhattan Kansas. It was the Japanese restaurant I have been looking for in Kansas. Most of the Japanese restaurants in my area are hibachi style places. Green Tea is a full menu restaurant with authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi. The staff was great and we did not have to wait to be seated. We tried the crab rangoon, gyoza, miso soup, teriyaki chicken, tempura chicken roll, and shoya ramen with pork. Everything was very tasty! The price for 3 was around $50 so it is not an everyday stop for most. The atmosphere was not as cozy as I thought it should be for a restaurant like this, but it was still well above acceptable. I will be returning as there is a lot more I want to try. I definitely recommend Green Tea Sushi if you want good Japanese cuisine and sushi.

The interior has a nice ambiance despite what the exterior would have you believe. My servers were very nice and helpful. The 2 rolls I got were delicious and Brianna even hooked me up with some special new sauces I’d never tried before and made me feel valued as a customer. Good restaurant.

Favorite sushi place in town. Love their lunch specials. Ask for dipping sauces like yum yum, eel, spicy mayo, etc… they have a boatload of them and they are quite tasty

I have had better gyoza. This was subpar. The sushi rolls had entirely too much rice and little to no filling. The miso soup was good. Visiting friends and I wouldn’t recommend this or order again.

Personally the sushi wasn’t all that great in my opinion. The deep fried roll was very tough and small for the price. I wouldn’t get it next time. I got a shrimp tempura roll as well and it wasn’t horrible. The service was great and everyone was super nice. My only reason for the less stars is just the quality and quantity of the sushi. I’ve definitely had better in Wichita.
