Sushi house with Japanese decor for a variety of rolls, plus entrees such as teriyaki beef.

The food is much better in taste, quality and portion than Tokyo in Junction City for about the same price. Had the bento box meals and it was too much for 1 person to finish (this is a compliment). Atmosphere is okay, but we were sat by the main door which had screen that shakes and slams every time someone enters or leaves, please don’t sit your guests there in the future. Service is friendly and prompt. Will go again if craving Japanese.

Every dish was delicious! I’ve been craving the tonkotsu(I asked for spicy) every day after we went there! The fried rice was very flavorful and the crab ragoons are the best I’ve had in a long time.

I have been past here one time before but never stayed to try anything. The sushi here is so good and flavorful. Everything was delicious, and the presentation of it all was pure art. This will be my go-to whenever in the area looking for some good sushi and Asian dishes. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving this place a try for yourself.

First time visitor. I was craving sushi and this joint popped up as a recommendation and it looked like a decent one with a ton of favorable reviews. I do regret not ordering some sashimi, which is one of my top tenders when indulging in the food of the sea. I gave the golden scallops a try, not too bad but a little tangy for what I expected. Eel sushi was pretty good. Wasn’t ‘too keen on the las vegas roll, it was over powered by the cream cheese, but of course still palatable. The place was packed and raging with conversation. I ordered to go online and the timing was efficient and the staff were nice and fast as well. The prices were pretty good which is great for all the seafood lovers out here in the area. Parking lot is somewhat plentiful but if its a weekend at night, be careful, might be packed.

Nice gem on the backside Aggieville. Just to mention first, the staff is super friendly and nice. Food comes out in a reasonable time. If you have a taste of Ramen or sushi, good spot to stop in and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.
Updated: Got Hibachi this time which was really great and a lot of food. The peach Saki is really good! The waitress was very attentive and friendly.
Highly recommend.

The interior has a nice ambiance despite what the exterior would have you believe. My servers were very nice and helpful. The 2 rolls I got were delicious and Brianna even hooked me up with some special new sauces I’d never tried before and made me feel valued as a customer. Good restaurant.

My personal favorites are the stuffed jalapeños, the Kansas roll, and the spicy California roll! When we walk in we are immediately welcomed! Service is great and fast! Definitely one of my favorite Manhattan restaurants!

I was very excited to try this place after many of my friends recommending this restaurant for sushi. But I was extremely disappointed in the quality and portions of the food I got. I paid $10 for five thin rolls. I honestly think I got the wrong thing because of the roll I got was supposed to have crab in it and I believe I had fried shrimp. There was also lettuce in the roll? Which was definitely not in the description nor have I ever seen lettuce in a sushi roll before. I’m sure this is a great restaurant but when you’re serving many college kids, you really need to step up your game for takeout.

We have eaten here several times, and I just don’t enjoy it. It’s a bit run down, and dimly lit for ambience, which contributes to the dingy feeling. The lettuce always tastes chemically, and the rest is subpar at best. It has been a few months since we have been, only because the food and experience aren’t worth the price to us.

Visited Green Tea Sushi while in Manhattan Kansas. It was the Japanese restaurant I have been looking for in Kansas. Most of the Japanese restaurants in my area are hibachi style places. Green Tea is a full menu restaurant with authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi. The staff was great and we did not have to wait to be seated. We tried the crab rangoon, gyoza, miso soup, teriyaki chicken, tempura chicken roll, and shoya ramen with pork. Everything was very tasty! The price for 3 was around $50 so it is not an everyday stop for most. The atmosphere was not as cozy as I thought it should be for a restaurant like this, but it was still well above acceptable. I will be returning as there is a lot more I want to try. I definitely recommend Green Tea Sushi if you want good Japanese cuisine and sushi.
