The food was great. We had the crab ragoons which are sweet not savory. We had the kids chicken on the stick meal and the orange chicken meal. Big portions. The fried rice was a bit bland. Other than that beautiful. Would recommend. Cute insides.

Green Tea was great find in New Albany, IN, for my Chinese food fix!
The restaurant atmosphere and decor, and menu were all a refreshing change from the more common digs and fare! While it’s a smaller, intimate place without white linen table cloths, the taste of their freshly prepared food was very good, and so was the service.
I enjoyed the Happy Family lunch special and Hot & Sour soup and will be back soon!

The steamed dumplings were very good and the fried rice. General Tso wasn’t spicy at all. Beautiful deco restaurant. Very fast service.

Green tea is an excellent restaurant. The prices are good, but portions are good too. Plus they have the kids menu which makes it nice so you are not paying full price. The food comes quickly. The service is awesome. The staff is friendly. Much better than other Chinese restaurants in the area. If you want a great Chinese restaurant green tea is the place to go!

This little gem is awesome! The food was amazing – great flavor, fresh, and hot. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was very nice. Our waitress was so sweet that my daughter actually asked her “can I hug you?” Large portions for good prices. We will definitely be back.

I have never received food as fast at a sit down restaurant as we did here. I got General Tso Chicken and it was good. The reason for the 3 star on the food was the crab rangoon. It was crispy and piping hot but I don’t know what the filling was. It was super sweet with zero crab to be seen (or tasted). Portions were nice sized. I was excited for the crab rangoon but left very disappointed.

If you are looking for the best Chinese food in New Albany, this is the place. The staff is always working hard to please their customers and the food is delicious. Today, I enjoyed the Sweet and Sour Chicken, but also recommend the the General Tso Chicken.
The restaurant inside seating is smaller. Probably enough space for 25 people. You might call ahead if you are bringing a party beyond four to ensure space.
Fully recommend and will be back!

Excellent food and service! I had the General Tso’s combination platter and crab rangoon. Tso’s could have a little more spice but the rangoon was delicious.

I grabbed the beef & scallops with garlic sauce & white rice and fried dumplings. Very good portion with a rich flavor, veggies had a nice crunch, the meats were nice and fresh, rice was… rice, and the dumplings impressed me. Both the food and housing services were fantastic and crazy fast. Restaurant was clean and cozy.
Will be frequenting this one when I have a Chinese food itch.
