How in the heck did we miss this place so far???
We found a new favorite in Brownsburg after almost two years of living here. Prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes, fried clam strips, and fried shrimp, fries and cole slaw. Fantastic portions, good pricing and the quality of the food was beyond what we expected when we walked in. Hell, it ranks high even for “fancy” restaurants.
Seeing previous reviews on Google made it look like a small hometown bar feel, which was going to be fine. When they led us to one of the back rooms to sit though, we were really surprised at the size of the place and pretty much everything else about it. We had fantastic service, even in the middle of them getting set up for a group of 20+ near us. The waiter didn’t miss a beat and made sure we were well taken care of.
If you have been there and haven’t been recently, go back. If you’ve never been, you’re really screwing up. Haha

Food was quite tasty, service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was nice, place is very big on the inside. Had the onion rings and hot cheese balls for appetizers, both were very flavorful and I would rate the onion rings a touch better. The buffalo chicken salad was delicious and quite generous portion. I got the hot which wasn’t that spicy but had good flavor. The French fries were not that great. Beer was refreshing and cold.

I wish the food had six stars!! We had the chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravy and green beans, and two fried biscuits and apple butter. I nearly fell out of my chair! This is comfort food at its finest! I can not say enough good things. We will be back next week to have it again.

I really liked the place. My first time there. I met clients for lunch and even the rootbeer is yummy! The Food was great and large portions! I don’t know why this place had any less than 4 stars, I’d definitely go back! YUM!

Definitely some good food! The potato skins were pretty standard but a great starter. As for the entree, the crab cake sandwich was really awesome… very flavorful and that pepper-jack cheese sauce on it was a nice touch. Service was quick and friendly.
The only down side was the furniture and aging decor. The walls were damaged from years of abuse (probably from chairs scraping across them). The table we sat at was really worn and both looked and felt rough, even though you could tell they had been wiped. The chairs were rickety too.
