Unexpectedly good personal shabu shabu here in this little cafe! The portion is very large for the price. It’s already cooked and ready to eat. Meat and veggies are very tender and the broth is perfect. I think other dishes are just OK. Kung pao chicken was not very authentic. Tea is quite strong, but also quite impressive about the scent. Boba was less than what I expected from a place known for boba.

Spicy shrimp fried rice and taro boba was delicious. I enjoyed my visit here. Servers were polite and the fried rice was spicy to the extent that i enjoyed it and did not feel overwhelmed 🙂 a nice good portion too I was happily full and the drink was also good. I highly recommend!

The best food option I have at a boba place. Follow me.

Highlights of the menu:
1. Brown sugar milk tea with boba
2. Jasmine milk tea
3. Korean kimchi hot pot with beer
4. Chicken wings
5. Tonkotsu fried pork rice

This is like best of both worlds. They have great drink and food selections that I super love about this place! The best from the menu is hot pot. I loveee it! A lot of students hang here after class which I know this place is cool.

I always think I’m not hungry when I order boba but I’m always hungry hehe. I ordered a lot because their menu looks so good. Like I mentioned, this is like best of both worlds!

It’s a great place to stop by for a quick bite. Service is always prompt and friendly. The food tastes fresh and well prepared. They have lots of different teas, as the name suggests, as well as a few beers on tap and Sterling Vintners Collection Meritage, which happens to be my favorite Sterling wine. Highly recommend!

Came here for a midday snack, went with a 50% sweet level earl grey milk tea with brown sugar mochi jelly, and a popcorn chicken rice combination.

My first time trying brown sugar mochi jelly, and whooooooah…it’s amazing. I can surmise they are trying to emulate the tapiomochi from toro tea, and honestly it is very very similar. Not too sweet, perfectly chewy with a rich brown sugar flavor, which I particularly enjoyed. The earl grey MT was cool and refreshing. I do wish the early grey aroma was a little stronger, but that’s just personal preference.

Popcorn chicken rice combination was also good, a solid 7.5-8/10. Could be a little crunchier, but the quality of the chicken was good and the combination with rice and vegetables was perfectly crafted.

Its small hot pot is really good, with a lot of vegetables, meat, and side dishes, and the taste is very good.

If you consider yourself a foodie, make Ten Ren your first stop on any visit to the San Gabriel Valley. With multiple locations and a huge menu, Ten Ren is so much more than a boba place! They offer classic Chinese/Taiwanese snacks, tea-based drinks, alcohol, and even full meals like hot pots and various fried rice dishes. I live on the East Coast, but I hit up Ten Ren on every visit to So Cal. In fact, I will be going there this evening for my usual fried tofu, tea marinated eggs, and a matcha milk tea. It’s so nice, while traveling, to snack on something that hasn’t been purchased at a convenience store. Service is always friendly and usually fast to boot. Love me some Ten Ren!

I have been to this ten ren for almost 10 years and never leave a review for this place. The food and the service always good. I’m a milk and fruit tea girl and I have been to many teas places. But Tenren teas always the top notch for me.

I placed my order, and they gave me a random receipt. I didn’t know until I took it out of my jacket pocket. I didn’t expect that to happen.
