We stopped in this week (Thrs) at 3:55, not realizing they closed at 4:00pm. They were super kind about it and told us we could still order as they had things they were doing to close up. The server was incredible. Patient, kind, professional. We ordered pizza and 2 drinks. They were all phenomenal. Even though they were closing the server checked a couple times to make sure the food and drinks were good. Drinks were made with detail in mind and were yummy. Another thing I noticed…one of the staff broke a drink syrup bottle when she was cleaning. The 2 staff that were by her were so kind to her and kept telling her it was ok, not to worry about it. This right here is how we should treat each other. It was such a delight to be around such good people. As we were leaving, a couple staff looked at us and said thank you as we were leaving. In a situation where it would have been easy to be annoyed at the folks coming in at the last minute, we were treated opposite from that. This place oozes all things good.

Amazing market and grocery with local items and items to include all dietary restrictions. My favorite sandwiches from the cafe are the Turkey Pesto cheddar and the Ham & Honey Mustard.
They also have a wonderful bar and restaurant attached where they serve a wide variety of craft cocktails (and mock tails) as well as wood fired pizzas.
Lastly they run a farmers market every Thursday and Saturday with live music and a great variety of local sellers. On these days they offer a special brunch menu so you can try new favorites.
Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Green Scene is a cool place because of the amazing food they offer and the comforting, friendly atmosphere there. It’s vegetarian and vegan friendly, with plenty of options for everyone. I’d recommend the sandwiches as they’re delicious and filling, perfect for a lunch. They offer classic drinks and alcoholic beverages, providing a nice balance for adults and letting children enjoy a soothing water or soda. The nearby shop has some great options for those looking for a quick snack and the neighboring supermarket is great as well. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a true Walker experience.

We visited the restaurant, which is attached to the market. Staff was friendly and working hard to ensure tables were served promptly. The food was excellent, as were the cocktails. The cocktail menu is longer than the food menu, so if you’re coming here, know that you have extensive options for excellent cocktails. Prices are high for the area, but certainly reasonable for the quality of food received. The appetizer menu is quite polarizing and isn’t very kid friendly. That should be improved.
The atmosphere inside is bustling and lively (and perhaps a little on the noisy side).
There is a large parking lot with free parking immediately out front from the restaurant.

Green scene has the BEST pizza and amazing cocktails, it’s my favorite place to go in Walker! Everybody is so friendly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend!

Great little place that also has a small organic market. Everything we had for dinner was fantastic and very fresh. They had the large doors open so the outside air was able to pass thru creating a very comfortable environment. It was fun to sit up at the bar and watch the two gentlemen make the brick oven pizzas. It’s on our list to visit again when we are in the area.

I can’t say enough about how much I love the green scene. Heather behind the bar is a great mixilogist. Her cocktails are the best around. They have seasonal specials that are always fun – Great to have some variety that flow with the seasons. Always love their did too – sad to see the egg salad sandwich disappear from the menu but always glad to see it when it reappears as a daily special. Their pizzas are fantastic too. Just the right size for a meal and also just the right size to split with your date and have as an appetizer with cocktails. Had the special last time and still am dreaming about how good it was. Gotta make sure to get back to Green Scene soon as they close for the winter after new years weekend.

Best food in Walker! We had the flank steak salad and the flank steak sandwich as well as the chili and wild rice mushroom soup. We went there two days before and had the most amazing tomato soup as well which we ended up buying a deli of in the attached market. Good cocktail selection also!

We found this little hidden gem, when searching for something different to go to while in Walker. We had no expectations, but we’re very pleasantly surprised by the quality in their craft cocktails. We had their Thai Chili Chicken Pizza, that was absolutely amazing!!
I highly recommend stopping and give this place a try!
