This was our first time ordering here and it will also be the last. We ordered the grilled short rib with rice and shrimp, and the grilled pork and eggroll vermicelli.

The beef short ribs were completely burnt. They were not just charred on the edges but black, dry, and inedible. They tasted like burnt charcoal. The meat was paper-thin and dried out. I honestly cannot believe that this plate of six tiny pieces costs $19.99 plus tax and tip. Seattle is expensive, but this was not only overpriced, it was unacceptable.

The vermicelli was slightly better, but still bland and forgettable.

If I had eaten at the restaurant, I would have sent the food back and walked out. Takeout was the only reason I did not. As a small business owner, I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt it needed to be said.

Reasonable prices. My pho was delightful and huge portion. Spring rolls were nothing special. Thai tea was large and less sweet than others I have had which I enjoyed!

Green Papaya Restaurant in Shoreline, WA, offers a satisfying Vietnamese dining experience with a streamlined ordering process where guests can place orders at the counter or through the touchscreen menu at the front. The service is excellent with friendly and welcoming staff to ensure a smooth experience.

The shrimp fresh rolls were as expected, light and refreshing, with vermicelli and crisp lettuce. The peanut sauce, while a bit watery, delivered solid flavor.

The standout dish was the brisket pho, which featured a rich, bold broth with tender, well-cooked brisket, creating an incredibly comforting and flavorful meal.

Between the efficient ordering system, warm hospitality, and delicious food, especially the stellar pho, Green Papaya makes for a great spot to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

The strawberry slush was refreshing!

Did takeout through Uber eats and was pretty disappointed. Sans tip this was a $27 bowl of pho with vegetables added. The serving size was a 16oz deli container of broth which is about half what I expected and am used to getting from other mom and pop pho places (usually a 32oz deli container of broth). It looks like Uber Eats jacked the price up on their app so I’d recommend doing takeout. The price before adding vegetables on the app was the same as with vegetables already added on their website. The Pho was very tasty but even without the increased cost ordering via Uber eats I don’t think this is very good value compared to some of the other spots in the area.

Love their pho, this is my go to place especially when I m craving for pho. I always order the combo options papaya salad and raw beef pho, good healthy combo, great quality & fresh. Friendly staff and quick service! Their rice dishes are great too!

Green Papaya is a locally owned and run Vietnamese restaurant. The inside is much bigger than you think, so lots of seating, with a good sized parking lot outside. They do lots of to go orders and are quite busy pretty often. Their prices are average and their portions are very good. Their staff is super nice all the time and their food is delicious. Not many other Vietnamese places around here, but this one’s probably on the top of the list so I would highly recommend.

The food here is just ok, I got the pork vermicelli bowl to go. For just under $16 it was a terrible value. I have had bowls around Seattle that give you 2-3 times the amount of food for the same or less cost. Really disappointed. If I’m going to pay that much for rice noodles and the smallest amount of pork then it’s not worth coming back. Not to mention the pork was severely overcooked, not burnt, but felt like it was warmed up in a microwave. I will say the service and people were very nice in there but that can’t make up for bad food and value.

Food was ok but the restaurant is quite clean. You have to order your food through a kiosk now instead of the server. Not a fan of this concept but not a big deal.

Cute little spot that just opened up. The food and service are always amazing. I love the fried wonton. Easily my favorite, but the Bahn mi is a close second. Great in and out parking too.
