Went there as I was wanting to try Pho for the first time and other reviews/photos stood out here thus I went. I got the #6, which is the Beef Pho in spicy broth. I got extra jalapenos and lime, but that’s my personal preference, of course. I ate till my Fullest compacity for one sitting and I still had, I’d say, 40 oz or so to take as left overs. She put it in a xl cup and it was almost filled to the top. Everything was and tasted fresh. Huge portions, very friendly service and clean restaurants. Recommend this place to a high degree.

First time trying Pho and it was everything I had hoped it would be! I ordered the beef pho in the spicy broth, the flavor is unmatched. The atmosphere was very peaceful, the waitress was very knowledgeable about the dish and was very attentive. My daughter had the chicken and vegetable with rice it was also very good, she had a strawberry milk jelly boba and both her items were very good as well. We will be returning very soon!

My Fiance is from Fort Smith and was adamant that Green Papaya has the best Thai fried rice she’s ever had….and…..she wasn’t wrong. It was so good!! The spring rolls were excellent too.

This place gets 5 stars on food, service, and atmosphere. After a long drive we ended up here to try Vietnamese food. We were seated by a young man and shortly a waitress arrived to take our order. Her English was good but one could tell not her 1st language. She was very helpful and answered many of our questions about the menu. We ordered an appetizer and two main dishes. One was vegetarian and the other had chicken. The appetizer was crab Rangoon and it was amazing. Next the main dishes came out and both were completely different but equally amazing. The deep rich flavors with subtle hints of other ingredients was quite an experience. Portions were very filling. Inside was a simple dinning area but with the lights on low. In the back a huge fish tank with amazing fish swimming. Place was clean and had plenty of parking. This place looks like it is run by a mom and family and they know how to cook great food. Will definitely stop here again next time passing through. Highly recommend this place for sure.

Fort Smith has a very large Vietnamese and Laotian community. This is a family run business with two locations in Fort Smith. I have been frequenting this restaurant monthly for the past 10 years. The food is superb. It is completely authentic. Their service is always top notch. This location is located in an older building. It does not look the best but the inside is great! You should definitely try it.

Always good food and service!
Vietnamese food continues to be my least favorite of Asian cuisines. I struggle with the taste and smell of fish sauce. My excitement for Pho is limited too. But, for some reason, out of all the Vietnamese restaurants we have tried, I continue to return to the Green Papaya in south Ft Smith. My wife and I have been eating here since 2015. I have always been able to find something on their menu I really like that doesn’t have the overpowering pungent taste of fish sauce.
On this visit, I may have found a Pho that I really like! The #8 Mi Thap Cam. A thin egg noodle soup with BBQ pork, shrimp, imitation crab meat and quail eggs. I really enjoyed this big bowl of soup. It was packed with the described meats, a couple of soft boiled quail eggs. The broth had abundant flavor. It was very good.
My wife, the tofu expert had the #V7 Mi Xao Tofu. It had a great variety of vegetables and perfectly stir fried tofu. Another good meal!
What I really like about this Green Papaya, in addition to the consistent quality of the food and service, is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Looking at the restaurant from the outside is deceptive. Inside you will find a modern attractive décor.
The food is fresh and well prepared, with very good service in a clean restaurant.
