They have the most extensive menu I’ve ever seen in my life. I finally chose the gyro. The Taziki sauce was amazing. The sandwich was delicious as were the sweet potato fries. My niece had French toast. So good and excellent service from our cute waiter.

I was told that my gift card dated 2018 was “fraudulent”. I presented the actual cash register receipt showing the gc was bought at the Meriden establishment. I gave the owner a chance to do right honest thing. Instead my intelligence was insulated once more by being told now “not fraudulent but expired”, “we don’t have that cash register anymore” when I came home I didn’t receive the correct order I ended up overpaying for food that was ordered and not received. Greed will get you nowhere.

SAFTEY HAZARD. If I can give less than a star I would. I just picked up a to go meal that was missing bacon and honestly I was going to let it slide but they also gave me rotten avocados on it. I went back which is something I never do. The woman in the front said “yeah the kitchen does that all the time and makes us look bad out here. I don’t know why they would serve rotten food” The manager said all his avocados are like that and he serves them to everyone… they sliced another one for me and it was the same thing. Then, they made my bacon undercooked and said take it or leave it. I will never give these people my money. There are a million diners in the area I’m new out here and just wanted to try it. I advise going to another one.

As someone who has lived in Meriden now for a few years I decided to try this place after passing it every day coming home. My buddy got a cob salad and I got a turkey club. The food was pretty damn good and was pretty impressed. Lots of times I drive by it seems empty so I wasn’t sure what I was gonna expect. But from the service to the food everything was great.

Had Larissa as my waitress and it was truly a pleasure. She was attentive, made great recommendations and was extremely hospitable. The food was succulent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right.
This is a perfect spot for sure!

Service was slow but to be expected when eating an hour before closing. However, my boyfriend and I both got penne ala vodka since, that is our go to pasta dish. This was our first time here and decided to give it a try. When the pasta came out it was not even warm. The pasta was white and barely had any red sauce to give the pasta a warm pink/ orange color. When trying the pasta the refrigerator taste was overwhelming with the coldness of the pasta. It was uneatable. I ordered toast as my side instead of the salad or soup option with the entree. The toast had butter that also tasted like the refrigerator and made a long lasting impression that I am disgusted by. I am never coming back. Along, with my boyfriend and friend. Please find somewhere else to go if you want warm and not refrigerated tasting food.

Amazing place. Food is great and the staff is better. Sue was my waitress recently and she did a great job. The diner is clean. I come here almost every morning for breakfast. Good breakfast specials and the egg sandwiches are unbelievable

Beware of the 8.00 charge on 4 eggs.

My friend and I went for breakfast and both got 2 eggs with home fries and toast with coffees. Nothing in the menus had said eggs were a up charge. The server did let me know about the sourdough up charge.

We got the bill it was it 45.00. We asked about the 8.00 up charge and the server said there was a sign at the front. We paid the bill. As I was walking out there was the smallest note pinned up about the egg up charge. I get it but 8.00 is a bit much. You should also make a bigger sign or better yet let your customers know that. I never leave reviews. I work at the restaurant and personally I’d let my people know. Not cool.

Examine your receipts carefully against the menu. Three separate occasions the receipt doesn’t match current menu pricing like by $2.00 to $3.00 dollars in favor of the restaurant. Each time, we have alerted the staff and it is never resolved.
