Friendly server, pleasant and clean atmosphere, with good food with a view of an old barn up the hill near I-82 freeway that has intrigued since childhood (I was born in this valley in the 1950). And it is next to the hotel we’ve stayed at sometimes. 😉

Absolutely fantastic dining experience, wonderful staff, very friendly and great portion sizes. The food was flavorful, vibrant, and even the music helped to top off the experience (Sinatra is always a wonderful choice). Will definitely be back here!

Steak fries were burned and the cod fillets are more like fish sticks. Although, the cod that I did get was delicious. The side salad was made with iceberg lettuce. It would have been a huge improvement to have had salad greens instead.

Absolutely wonderful!!! We are traveling all over the USA for our jobs, and found this little jewel just down from our hotel, Great food, AWESOME service from our waitress Dee, and our first time having red pesto, wonderful, and the bread is great also, Highly Recommend

I was most impressed by the fact they make everything from scratch. The pasta and sauces we ate, reminded us of family dinners with our homemade pasta. Really, good food, suburb service. Our waitress was so kind and patient, with our whole group. The deep fried lasagna and ravioli incredibly good and a fun treat! Thank you for the wonderful new memories of a family meal (without having to cook!). We will be back to try the rest of the menu. lol

Pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect and the two ladies working tonight were very pleasant and did not rush me even though I got there within the last hour. Did I mention the food was delicious!! I checked out the green Olive cafe world while I was working in town. I loved the atmosphere and the wonderful home cooks food. I did however feel like the atmosphere did not match the food. The atmosphere felt more upscale. While the food felt more like something I would cook myself At home. This is by no means a bad thing but I think toning down the the core would make the food match the feel of the place.

Wonderful clean atmosphere with professional over-the-top wait staff. The cooks are like Angels from Sicily…Thanks everyone at Green Olive Cafe! The decorations and color were magnificent and the outdoor eating gallery was so nicely shielded with wonderful views of the Yakima Valley and the township of Sunnyside. The food? Superb!

My first visit. Very nice, quaint cafe. Good atmosphere, great food, decent portion. Prices are a couple dollars higher than I might have expected, but not unreasonably so considering the good food. An easy walk from the truck stop and worth the trek.
