Green Mountain Bagels is a family- owned and operated bakery. We’ve been around since 2007 yet the history in baking goes back much further. The owner, Stephen Durgin has been in the bagel industry for over 38 years and still produces quality product for customers at a reasonable price. We use only the finest ingredients and traditional methods to produce exceptional bagels, muffins, cookies, breakfast sandwiches, and deli sandwiches.

I’ve gone several times and I could describe this as a Hannah Montana song. The best of Both worlds! If I’m in a rush and just need a coffee I can grab a cheap cup of coffee and make it myself like at a gas station, I like this instead of those coffee bars ordering fancy coffee, or I can go to the side where they make great sandwiches! On that side I’m greeted by a pleasant welcoming staff when they see me, I don’t get a greeting when I walk in, but there are so many people there all the time! The older woman in the front, sure she isn’t smiling ear to ear but I’ve never seen someone so efficient at confident in their job. I wanted a coffee and baked good, she cashed me out while answering someone’s question and giving 2 door dashers 4 separate orders. The sandwiches all are great, I like the steak and cheese! There is so much I can continue to say. The vibe of the place is fantastic, I love the set up, communication between staff and customers has been on point every time I’ve gone and I think the only reason they don’t have likes out the door every second of their open hours is because of the location.

That was one of the best bagels I’ve ever eaten. I love pumpernickel, so I was excited to see it on the menu. I usually pair it with a sweet flavored cream cheese. The maple chocolate chip spread was perfect. The chocolate bits were so good, and it was the perfect sweetness, not overly sweet. 5 stars!

No this is not NYC but these are pretty darn good. My standard breakfast sandwich, toasted garlic bagel, buttered with bacon, egg, and cheese was excellent. My only critique would be to cook the bacon at the time of ordering. When in VT my new breakfast spot.

Been trying to support this place since another bagel shop opened around the corner, but im frustrated with service today. She forgot to put the spinach i asked for on my blt (know she heard because she verified that I wanted both spinach and lettuce) but didn’t know until I got all the way home. So I called and they don’t allow you to leave a message….you have to keep calling back until they pick up! Lousy service.

Racist experience. The cashier was friendly and smiling toward white customers, but her attitude completely changed when she saw Asian customers. She looked visibly disgusted, kept saying “what?” when we spoke, turned her back on us, and asked “is that it?” in a dismissive way. As soon as we finished, she immediately smiled and warmly greeted the next white customer.

Best bagels in town…hands down. Staff is always attentive, kind, and professional. It’s lucky we have such great team players in our community. Their bagle sandwiches are top-tier.
