The food here is always great. The service is always top notch. Our waitress tonight (Des) was absolutely outstanding and genuinely cared about us.
I do not give 5 stars because it seems the training is not up to par, as some specials are honored a certain way by some managers, and not by the other. I went to the restaurant tonight in hopes of taking advantage of the Tuesday night deals as I was told they were honored, but ended up spending triple what I anticipated.

Green mill was delicious . Food was really good, didn’t love the mozzarella sticks, they were not horrible, just a little too dark for our liking. However the pasta was great, or waitress was very friendly. Very casual atmosphere. The prices seemed very fair. However there is an extra charge if you don’t use cash! I would recommend using cash and save yourself some money.

I’ve always had a great meal at Green Mill Willmar. The staff is some of the best, so friendly and attentive! I went for lunch and was under a time constraint and they did a wonderful job working around our limited timeframe and making it so we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Loved the chicken burrito bowl!

We went in to have lunch on a Friday. The hostess greeted us when we came in. She asked us if we wanted to eat inside or on the patio. Our waitress arrived quickly to take our order. Although she didn’t seem very friendly. When we ordered our food, my wife ordered a salad. My wife told the waitress she wanted ranch salad dressing. The waitress asked us is that with a F or R. If the waitress couldn’t hear what my wife said, she could have simply asked her to repeat it. We received our food quickly. The pizza and salad were delicious. The waitress checked on us a few times, but never refilled our drinks, even though my glass was empty. We received our bill of $33.41. We gave our waitress $35.00 and asked for change. We should have received $1.59 back. The waitress gave us $2.50. This is not the type of customer service we expect. We will go elsewhere.

Below is my original review. I wanted to add an amendment. The manager reached out to me upon writing it and offered to comp me and my family a meal to earn our business back and we greatly appreciated the effort to make it right.
I’ve got to say that I was shocked. We arrived and each had different burgers, my wife and my two sons. The burgers are frozen premade burger that have no flavor and are cooked totally dry (I asked for pink). Our server was a young woman and I think for the first time in my life I left less than a 20% tip, I left 3%. Our fries were soft and cold and totally unseasoned, our server was a different woman on 3 of the 4 occasions we needed her because she never came back to the table. She only had one other table she was serving. Our food took just over 40 minutes to arrive even though there were only two other parties at the restarting at the time. I honestly cannot believe this is place still open, it shouldn’t be.

We ate outside. The drinks were great, the food was good (though I didn’t realize the wings would be deep fried). The service was fine until it wasn’t. Our server, a petite female with dark brown, chin length hair, brought the bill without asking if we’d like anything else (dessert?). When she returned with it, having charged my credit card, I added a 23% tip. She then returned almost instantly and picked up the bill with my added tip while we were still seated. There wasn’t a holder, just a long white receipt, so it was on the table face up and she could of course see the tip – but I guess she was unhappy that I hadn’t given her more. She paused a second to look at it, then picked it up, turned her back, and left without a word. Since all tips are optional, the lack of a ‘thank you’ really turned me off. We were there yesterday, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth.

Staff have been rude, condescending and greatly unprofessional. We waited over 40 minutes for our water while others that came after us were served food. Asked 3 different times to speak with the manager, as did the people next to us and were told he’s busy. Our food was cold, the table next to us had cold food also, and when asked if we could get our drinks, they were rude and told us they were short staffed. The manager came out and apologized and literally walked away.

All of our food items were way spicier than usual. Couldn’t eat most of it. Slow cooking time even thoigh there weren’t many people there. Nice server.

It was way to cold in the restaurant, it’s hard to enjoy your meal when you are freezing. The waitress didn’t tell us that they don’t have Dr. Pepper and gave us Mr. Pibb, it is not the same. The cheeseburger was not good at all, the chicken was bland and the Mac & cheese had so many bread crumbs that my daughter couldn’t eat it. Then as we were leaving my daughter said ‘We didn’t get our bread sticks”. While paying I told them we didn’t get them and we didn’t even get an apology for it. The prices are expensive and there is a ridiculous credit card charge. I would not recommend this restaurant.
