Great experience. Nice, personable people working. No big bad bald guy in sight. Great tasting pizza. I’m glad we have this in Savage so we don’t have to drive to Lakeville or Bloomington for Green Mill! They have limited indoor seating or you can order and eat inside Crooked Pint which is connected.
A negative review done by someone who gives every restaurant they review a ‘one star’ rating doesn’t hold weight with me. We will be back to this location. Good job and welcome to Savage!

Granted my order was ready on time, The margarita pizza was disappointing. My kids love every kinda pizza no matter what’s on but left the table without finishing their triangular piece of bread. Outside crust undercooked and over cooked in the middle…how do you pull that off? Normally I wouldn’t complain but for $40 for a tiny pizza and an order of wings is absurd. I won’t be going back!!

We waited 30 minutes past our pickup, when they finally brought it out, we saw them take the pizza out of the warmer. Pizzas were old and way over done. Took another 15 minutes on the phone to get a refund. This is definitely not green mill quality. The wings were supposed to be boneless, but were traditional.

I ordered a to go pizza and desert fire pasta. My boyfriend ate the pizza and was satisfied. He gave it a 3 out of 5, not bad but nothing to brag about. On the other hand…
The Desert Fire Pasta, substituted with chicken, was terrible. This is a common dish I order at Green Mill. The chicken was a cut up fried chicken patty instead of grilled chicken. This should have been specified as it is not what the dish comes with when ordered at an actual Green Mill location. Secondly the dish had an overwhelming flavor of barbecue sauce. Completely off putting on a desert fire dish, and also not Green Mill standard.
I ended up throwing away the pasta and not eating the meal. For Green Mill price I should receive Green Mill product. I will not be going back despite this being a closer location.

Saturday night 7:45 and was closed, very dismal for a first timer, I would hope Saturday would be a big night for pizza sales. Checked again and Saturday wasn’t the only closure. wish you well but you have to be open to take an order?

I have ordered online takeout orders from this location two times in the last two or three months. Both times I have ended up having to sit in the restaurant for 30+ minutes after my order was supposed to be ready.
Today I went in my order was supposed to be ready at 4:55. I got to the store at 4:50 expecting that it probably wouldn’t be ready yet. I check in with the hostess and tell her my name, she tells me it’s not ready yet. no big deal. I then patiently wait another 15 minutes in the lobby. She tells me It’s still not ready yet and asks what my name is for the second time. Another 15 minutes goes by and I’ve seen two or three other people come pick up their orders and start thinking this is weird.
hostess comes back out to the lobby area again and asked if I’ve been helped yet and asked my name again for a third time. I tell her my name and I’ve been waiting for an order. She tells me it’s not ready yet. another 20 minutes passes by and I only see one other person come in and pick up anything. This was the one of a few chances I even had a chance to speak to the hostess as there was nobody out in the lobby I could even talk to for extended time. I asked what is going on. I’ve been sitting here for almost an hour now and I keep hearing you quoting 25 to 30 minutes on the phone for orders. the hostess (same one I’ve spoke to 3 times already) for a 4th time asks for my name and if I’ve been helped yet. Keep in mind there’s never been more than 2 people sitting in this lobby and only 4-5 others have been in the lobby the whole time. I tell her again. She then Tells me, oh yeah, I’m not sure why nobody told you, but there was never a receipt for your order and tries to tell me I ordered from a different location…. I tell her she’s the only person I’ve spoke to there so who else would be expected to tell me that? I pull out my receipt and confirmed I ordered from this location. Then she digs through the heater out front and finds an order that only had my last name on it for some reason that she claims had been sitting there since before I got there… like that was going to make me feel any better.
I ordered three items originally and there was only two that she set out for me so I told her something was missing. She then in an argumentative way, said that I didn’t order anything else. I again calmly said I had a 3rd item. She goes back into the heater and finds it and gives me a terrible non-apology and offered nothing else. Terrible customer service.
There was another guy that came in before I left who also had a delayed order so must be a common theme. I love green mill but this place just doesn’t seem to care about customers based on the couple times I’ve picked up something and I hope others can avoid wasting their time ordering anything here

This place has no business calling itself Green Mill. Frankly, I think it’s a Crooked Pint issue (the restaurant it’s a part of). Food and service there are terrible.
The pizza uses Green Mill sauce, but that’s it. The pizzas are inconsistent, the toppings haphazard, and their dough and “doneness” standards leave a *lot* to be desired.
Green Mill – close this place or improve it. It’s an embarrassment to the great pizza that Green Mill makes.

We’ve ordered twice from the Green Mill to go Savage. First order they forgot to give us a whole pizza and had to go back. Second order they made the wrong pizza. Manager said they would put my name down and just call the next time for a free replacement. Called and they had no record and the manager would call me back another day. Not exactly helpful….
