Stopped for a late lunch on a weekday and they were busy. Hostess had to clean out a booth or we would have to sit in bar area. Service was quick AND our food came out even quicker. It was Great. A big plus was the friendly staff that took the time to tell us about their restaurant

The Green Marlin in Vero Beach is a clean and professional restaurant, clearly family-run and maintained with care. It doesn’t attract a loud crowd, which makes it an enjoyable spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The gumbo was absolutely amazing, the pasta was well-prepared, and dessert was right on the money. Service was professional and pleasant throughout, and I appreciated how the music was kept at a comfortable level, allowing for conversation without distraction. The overall vibe is welcoming, and the bingo night was a nice touch—bringing people together in a fun, community-oriented way. I will definitely return.

This place was pretty solid. The staff was efficient dealing with the crowd. We got a table fast. It was a wait for everything, but it was packed so understandable and the waitress was helpful. The food was good I got the fresh fish and everyone else was satisfied including the kids. The tres leches was definitely the highlight of the meal.

I attended a seminar here in the back area of the restaurant. Service was the best, food choice was limited, but the burger I ordered was loaded with caramelized onions, plenty of delicious mushrooms and swiss cheese on a tasty bun with some of the best french fries I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time ( very crispy and non-greasy). The only minus is the chairs, which are hard wood, no cushioning. All in all I would rate a good solid four stars.

Our first visit to Green Marlin and it certainly won’t be our last. Our server was very attentive and professional. We had prime rib and stuffed scallops, both were outstanding.
We also tried a few of their specialty cocktails; particularly loved the “Marlin Escapes”.
Then we shared a piece of triple chocolate layer cake…simply exquisite!!
We sat inside but noticed the outdoor seating available which we may try next time. We got a table right away with no wait despite a busy Valentine’s Day dinner crowd.
Overall very satisfying experience and we’ll definitely be back!

This was my first visit to their Green Marlin but definitely won’t be my last. When I arrived I waited at the outdoor bar for some friends to arrive. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming. When we were ready we were seated inside. Our server promptly greeted us and offered menu suggestions. Everyone was very happy with their menu choices. I recommend the shrimp and grits…its delicious! When in Vero, the Green Marlin is a must!

Have been several times and the food is pretty consistent. Shrimp and scallops in the weeds is my favorite. The seafood platter is good, although a little rich for my taste (the scampi sauce is more cream based). The swordfish medallions Louisiana style is good. The one thing I have tried that I wouldn’t recommend is the gumbo. As my husband is from Louisiana we know gumbo! There were giant pieces of onion and tomato in it and hardly any broth, and it definitely didn’t look or taste like a roux. There were giant chunks of Crab in it, that’s always nice….but I think they should call it seafood soup or something else, not gumbo. Definitely go, the food is great overall and the service is usually outstanding! The atmosphere is very casual, and there’s a great Tiki bar outside for nice weather.

This was our first visit. Our server was amazing. She was also the bartender. I ordered the seafood bowl because I was craving crab. I was very disappointed in the quality of the shrimp. It was not de-veined or easy peel and overcooked. The potatoes were undercooked. The crab was ok. My wife ordered the Mahi and scallops cakes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She loved her meal and says she would give it an 8 out of 10 with the broccoli being amazing. She also agreed with my reaction to the seafood bowl. I ended up making my own crab boil at home the next day to satisfy my craving. There are other items on the menu I’d like to try and due to the awesome service from our server I feel like I’ll give another try.
