Delicious shakes
Food was okay but nowhere near good enough to justify the price- pretty basic, spins off of original recipes like the biscuits and gravy & Huevos rancheros that would have been better sticking to the traditional versions

Green Light Diner is a great spot to get a bite. The place has a very mid 20th century feel to it. I had an excellent BBQ chicken sandwich.
They have an old school soda fountain as well. We did not get a treat at the fountain but it sure was tempting.

The place has a real retro diner feel. Music, decorations added to the ambience. The eggs Benedict was Classic and the almond oatmeal really filling. We will be back again.

My family and I went to Poulsbo recently, since it was known for being “Little Norway.” During lunch hour, we understood that restaurants nearby this little village in the summer would be crowded. But this restaurant was particularly horrible with their wait time. Even though we went in to reserve first, it took 30 minutes to wait outside in the blistering heat. There were several couples that came after us and got seated first…inside AND in a booth fit for a family. And oh no, it wasn’t just 30 minutes… We waited ANOTHER 40 minutes for our food to come once we got in and immediately ordered. I didn’t think our orders were very complicated, so we were wondering what is up with the service. I get if waiting for seating arrangements takes time… but the food wait time is crazy. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you’d like to spend over an hour waiting (yes, we should’ve just gone to the bakery down the street).

Haven’t been here in a few years since I moved an hour away but decided to make the drive last Sunday. Guess I came at a good hour since there was no wait! Also the food was great with large portions and our server Kyle was very friendly and helpful! Prices are also on average with other breakfast places. Highly recommend this place!

Best biscuits and gravy either of us have ever had! Delicious! They make their own sausage! We split a half order. We went for breakfast and lunch on the same day! From our experience, breakfast is better than lunch, but it’s also served all day, so there’s that! I made my own omelet with ham, spinach, and feta. So good, Jay had hash and his side of hashbrowns needed its own plate! Both times our server was excellent! The music is fantastic and the decor is very nostalgic. We would absolutely recommend this place.

Family and I went to lunch at the Green Light Diner in “Little Norway” Poulsbo WA. The nostalgia decor made the setting feel authentic but lacked the oldies music to match the decor. The diner was clean but the dinnerware was either old and discolored or dirty. I did not have a need for it so I did not say anything. As for the food, I believe they have too many items to make anything special. The family had three different items and they were edible. Nothing fancy, nothing noticeable, just plain food. The cost was about right for the area, but overall I was not impressed with the food. The waitress was amicable and patient, she did a good job. My recommendation would be if you want to average food at area prices with the diner feel, then go for it. Overall I was disappointed with all the hype I heard about the diner.

This was a super cute place. They are a 50’s themed dinner that serve American food. We had a lovely time. We had the chili omelette, the denver omelette, dino chicken nugget meal, and the jr. Viking meal. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the people were very kind. We will be visiting again.

Love the old diner vibe when we walked in. Very welcoming staff and our server, Katie, was very nice and great customer service skills. We ordered the Captains platter with an extra bowl of clam chowder. We missed out on the oysters as they didnt have any, bummer, but they made up for it by adding more shrimp. When Katie delivered our food she felt like the fish wasn’t enough so she offered us another piece! Like I said, great customer service!!! Their clam chowder was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS… best I’ve had next to my daughters homemade chowder. Definitely worth the price and the trip!!
