Had lunch today at Green Leafs. Leafs isn’t the actual plural of leaf, but as a proper noun, and as the name of a business, I’ll allow them some latitude. I won’t subtract any stars for a mild grammatical disagreement.
They sell salad. You can select a base of spinach, lettuce, or a combination. I chose the combination. They let you choose four toppings included in the price. Extra toppings cost extra. I selected chopped hard boiled eggs and chopped walnuts as my proteins and chopped onions and chopped tomatoes as my two other toppings.
For my dressing, I chose Caesar dressing. They let me tell them when to stop pouring the dressing. I appreciated that.
The salad was delicious. Interestingly, when I paid with my credit card, there was no part of the payment process where a tip was requested. The price of the meal is the actual price shown on the bill. That’s a refreshing change in my typical lunch experience.
If you’re in the mood for a salad and you’re in the Towsontowm Mall, I recommend that you head over to the food court and get your salad at Green Leafs.

What a waste of money. I ordered the Chicken Margherita panini and was thoroughly disappointed. It looked thrown together, had zero flavor, and I couldn’t even taste the sun-dried tomatoes. Paying almost $12 for half a subpar sandwich is highway robbery. I consumed two bites before tossing it in the garbage. They should honestly just stick to smoothies.

This time around I got a medium frozen yogurt with mango and granola toppings. It was pretty refreshing and light. Prices have gone up recently due to inflation, but the prices were always high anyway.
