When I travel, I try to not eat commercial chain restaurants. Local is always better. The green leaf has been serving the Wooster Ohio area since 1965. And the food did not disappoint. Affordably priced, fantastic service, and solid homemade food. I had the “Chippy” with fries, side salad and banana cream pie.

This place is amazing! My parents and sisters have been here in the past and loved it. Tonight we came and had a family dinner (my first time) and it was very much enjoyable and amazing service. I was in town for a few nights for a visit in early May and decided on Green Leaf for my first night in town. I decided on the ribeye steak dinner with a side of fries. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable. I later found out that they’ve been family owned since 1965 and it’s clear why they continue to be popular with locals and visitors like myself. No trip to Wooster is complete without stopping in for a meal here.

The Green leaf restaurants is one of my favorite restaurants this is the frist time since the 90s i have been here i have not been to wooster ohio in a long time but today was the frist time back here the food is still really good and so is the Atmosphere and the people who works there are still friendly I remember going here as a boy in the 80s and 90s still happy this place is still here and has not changed over the years and there prices are also there really good

I’ve been eating at the green leaf for more than 35 years. Used to be after service at Wooster Baptist temple when dad finished dropping the kids off with the church bus. Sadly tonight was the best service, but worst food I’ve ever had there. If the rye bun presented to me twice this evening is what was supposed to be “back”. Just forget it, go back to the regular bun. Hard, dry, nasty. Steak bacon and Swiss, the chicken filet, or the chippy didn’t ever used to miss. And follow that with a hot fudge sundae made with maple nut ice cream. Man those were my go to orders with grandma. Not even a good bowl of hot rice could’ve saved tonight. We took good care of the server. But I won’t be back any time soon. Bummer guys

Very nice local restaurant. Good food and staff. Wife loved the country fried steak and I thought the ribs were really good. My son’s chicken Parm was good but there was only a small chicken breast. With all the spaghetti noodles it looked silly. Really needs two chicken breasts. Love that they serve Pepsi. Will be adding this to our #PepsiStops and definitely be back!
