This place is now owned by a couple who is very nice and honest to customers. They make great chicken deli takeout and chili pepper and garlic paste which I never tasted or even knew both before!
Bouncy chicken skin and flesh and even savory bones… Chicken savory is given back to chicken to the most by pretty simple ingredients which I only tasted salt…

Very kind service with great food. I loved the Hot & Sour soup noodles. I got the mild and it was just enough kick with lots of flavor. Hidden gem in San Gabriel, would definitely visit again when I’m in town.

Wow wow wowwwwww amazing sour beef noodle soup! Best I’ve ever had.

Now it has changed its name to Dandan Guilin Rice Noodles. The signature hot and sour rice noodles are really unpalatable. Not as good as the old Guilin rice noodles. You have to pay more than 20 yuan to pay by credit card. There is not even ice water. The service staff will only smile when you want to pay. Since you rely on “tips”, please ask the front desk for more service. I will not come here again.

I don’t know if it’s because of a change of ownership or something else, but the lamb slices aren’t as good as before. The top layer of the box is mostly large slices of lean meat, but underneath it’s all scraps of fat. It’s so shoddy!
