HELLO!!!! I’ve went to Green Kettle multiple times over the course of a couple months before & now very much inclined to write this review. Overpriced coffee, overpriced food, and staff that does not even pay attention. Any time I got a latte it was $9+ and for what? Really disgusting coffee, too much milk, who is training your baristas? Either they are not using the correct temp, grind, water or just winging it. Actually embarrassing. Now let me start on the food. So overpriced for baked goods but let me TELL YOUUUUU about this sad sloppy soggy $15 RICOTTA TOAST they sold me…just look at the photo.
It wasn’t even toasted. Probably as thin as a piece of paper. Did you get the bread from the dollar store? The ricotta was melted and liquid. Whatever the hell that berry glob was tasted like it was canned. Didn’t even give me a napkin, no utensils, NOTHING. Nothing out that I could even grab myself either. Had to ask the employees and they gave me 1 skinny napkin and a plastic fork. For 15 whole DOLLARS? No thanks.
Please train your baristas. Fix your food and beverage quality. Lower your prices. Absolutely asinine lol. Thanks!! Have a great day!

Green Kettle is a wallingford staple! Their coffee is delicious. They change their beans periodically- using local roasters.
I’m simple with a mocha latte, but I was a huge fan of their chai with their house made coconut syrup.
The baristas are super friendly and make the best coffee. I love their little protein balls & over night oats for a quick snack.
Perfect place to catch up with friends, or get some work done.

As a local, I can honestly say Green Kettle Coffee is the best local coffee spot around. They create creative drinks with monthly themes paired with excellent snacks, and everything is made with real care. The coffee is consistently smooth and flavorful, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect place to catch up with neighbors or get a little work done. It’s more than just a coffee shop; it’s a true community hub, and we’re lucky to have it right here in town.

I went with a friend for a latte before getting our day started. Green Kettle Coffee is easy to access from the street, with ample street parking. The shop is small but inviting with pleasant staff. The menu has a surprisingly large selection of drinks and the prices were certainly fair. My gingerbread latte was beyond satisfactory and was the best one I’ve had at any shop. I highly recommend Green Kettle Coffee for a delicious drink!

The prices here are a complete rip for central CT. $8.91 for a 16 oz iced latte that’s mostly cold foam. The interior could use an uplift with nicer tables and chairs for patrons, especially for the prices they’re charging. The table I briefly sat at was beyond worn and surrounding area was dirty. Staff weren’t all that welcoming either. There’s nicer options in CT for less money.

I drove an hour out in the rain to try this place on a whim, and it was 100% worth it. The French toast chai was sweet and spiced, not watery at all. I got the fall harvest toast as well (sans hot honey) and it was delicious. The bread was warm but not crunchy, the apples were baked but not squishy, and they didn’t skimp on the fruits! The cafe itself could be cozier, the spot by the window is the best! And there’s a parking lot in the back.

Saw all the great reviews for this place and decided to check it out since it’s under 10 min away. I got a plain cold brew with syrup which was $7.62….for a 16 ounce coffee. The price was insane for a plain cold brew with no cold foam and 16 ounce being their large is laughable. The cold brew itself tasted like water and was awful. Honestly one of the worst coffee’s I have had. I rather drive 30 min to Bruno’s then 10 min to here.

My first time and I loved my experience! The pastries are supplied by a local bakery, Kouign, which are delicious, fresh, and have SO much flavor. I tried the ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant and the Cowboy Danish (cream cheese, garlic, shallots, cayenne pepper, Dijon, chives topped with potatoes and watermelon radish). So yummy.
The star of the show for me was their latte cold foam printer. Such a unique experience. You could choose from a selection of many designs or submit your own photo through a QR code – family or friend photos, or even logos.
Delicious seasonal lattes – I enjoyed the Fresh Baked and Drink Me.

I went here after seeing all the tiktok videos of their Valentine’s flight. The price was reasonable for $35 for the coffee and $15 for the cupcakes, my husband and I shared everything, it would’ve been too much for one person. They were all unique and delicious and it was such a fun and creative experience. I would absolutely do it again. I recommend going during the week if you can, or during a less busy time because you have to have a table for the flight, we went later in the morning, almost afternoon and we were lucky to get a seat/table the turnover for a seat isn’t bad, at least not at the time we went, and we were there for about 30-45 minutes for the whole flight, but just a coffee and a treat wouldn’t take long at all, there were several people on computers the whole time though that didn’t move and don’t look like they were going anywhere anytime soon, so there’s that, and with limited seating… Yea. But it worked out great for us.

The staff and owner are sooo nice but unfortunately I didnt really enjoy the drinks we got. The “refresher” tasted more like tea with abit of flavor over ice. The matcha tasted very artificial and watered down, it wasnt our cup of tea. With that being said just because it wasnt my favorite doesn’t mean it may not be someone else’s. I might stop by to try actual coffee next time.
