Green Iguana Bar & Grill is a true Tampa Bay classic — and even though there’s only one location left, it still captures that old local vibe perfectly. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and full of that Florida energy with good music playing in the background.I tried the Cuban sandwich, which was absolutely delicious — crispy bread, juicy meat, and just the right seasoning. The Mahi fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the street corn added a nice touch of spice and texture.It’s one of those places where great food, friendly service, and a laid‑back atmosphere come together for a real Tampa experience. It’s a shame this is the last Green Iguana in the area, but if you get the chance, definitely stop by before it’s gone.

Our server disappeared for a noticeable stretch of time, and while we were waiting, another couple came in, waited quite a while to be seated, and eventually left without being helped. That was unfortunate to see and took away a bit from the overall experience. On the positive side, we really enjoyed the happy hour draft beers, which were a great value. With more consistent service, this place could easily be a go-to spot.

Best bar in all of Tampa by leaps and bounds and all the staff make it the best location.
The live music is legendary and the trivia on Tuesdays makes it super fun.
There’s also a super nice boy named day that makes yours if you sit with him a while and alkia and raffi always makes the drinks perfect

It’s a fun place indoor outdoor. Service was excellent. It was cold out but we sat outside and was cozy. Fun atmosphere colorful, lights, good music, good vibe, everyone was ina good mood. I love the unique places. Not your copycat, plain Jane places to eat where no one is happy or happy to serve you. I like to call these places honey holes. We need them ❣️❣️

Katie Jo was our server and let me just say, she was absolutely AMAZING! Friendly, attentive, and full of good vibes! she made our night even more special.
With a little approval from “Mom” (who is also awesome and clearly helps keep the fun going), Katie Jo was even able to take a celebratory shot with us, which just added to the great energy of the night.
We played music bingo, which took the experience to a whole other level — the music was a perfect mix of today’s hits and timeless classics, keeping everyone engaged and vibing all night long.

Spent my Super Bowl Sunday with that dynamic duo that people in Tampa keep talking about Katie and Megan! The reviews did not disappoint! So happy it was as true to its words as the reviews said!
