Never had a bad time here. Food truck out back has Bison and Wagyu beef burger. Great for live shows. Very lively spot for being in the middle of no where. Beers cheap and cold.

This is a great bar. They have pizza and beer. If you are a man and have to sit down to use the restroom, you will unfortunately want to go elsewhere. I have seen the toilet work approximately 5% of the time over the past decade. I highly recommend this place despite that setback.
I would recommend ordering a pitcher of beer and a pizza, then go play some buck hunter or pinball. Pinball rotates every so often which is nice, buck hunter machine is in good shape (HD). Also there is golden tee, pool, darts, ping pong, beer pong. They’ve got it all!

Great local bar with a laid back feel. Came in one snowy evening to no power, but they were still pouring. Cash only! They have an ATM inside though.

don’t use their atm, i did and now i had to report fraud on my bank account. everything was fine until i went there and used their atm and now i have a bunch of strange charges for various online stores. had to cancel my card and get a new one. super frustrating bc they told us cash only and pointed right to the atm so someone there is in on it.

A hidden gem and a local favorite for college students at SMCM a vibrant atmosphere. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming very customer-focused environment. Affordable tap beers and I recommend pitchers. They have pool, ping pong, and darts. With pizzas made to order.

Went there (5/5) and got the door slammed in my face by the bartender for not purchasing anything, while we still had personal items in the bar . incredibly rude considering the amount of times we’ve been there and was SPECIFALLY told to “go back to the REX if that’s where you came from” If simply told they were closing to grab your things, it would’ve been no problem but this was a bar full of people and was given no warning. Many of the people in my party were drinking and have came with us many times so we were the DDs that night. Was also blamed for “making a mess” with the beer bong table but when we came in people were already playing, didn’t know it was our responsibility to clean it up. If she (blond bartender) told us we would of happily cleaned up but that was never insinuated, we were just yelled at. upon leaving the bar (before last call) we got yelled at … again, if we weren’t drinking we had to leave. which I understand but there was many people not drinking and playing games and our group was singled out while waiting for our friends to exit the bathroom with a full bar. If you have a DD wouldn’t recommend this spot.

Nice little college bar. Bartenders are busy but they do a good job and they’re friendly. Tap beers are inexpensive, pitchers are the way to go if you plan on being there for a while. Pool, ping pong and darts are available for entertainment. They’ve also got pizzas made to order

You’ll run into college students and townies. Great place to catch a Caps game. Look out for Pint Nights. Pizza is edible, but you should have a few drinks.
The prices are absurdly low. Again, this is a hole in the way in all the best ways. I stop here every time I visit the area.
