New to the area and was looking for a new local bar. I walked in and decided to wait at the door to see if there was a host or any need to check in, it was a completely new area to me and wanted to get familiar. I had a very awkward interaction with the person working there, older woman with short curly hair. I mentioned to her that I’ve never been there before and just wanted to see how it worked. She replied in a very condescending manner saying “ It’s a bar, have you never been to a bar for? You order a drink.” For the most part, I have no issue with an interaction like that, but it was in the open area where everyone obviously heard. I’ve never had such an unwelcoming experience, I turned around and walked out. I’m sure this is an established bar with regular patrons, but I would never go here again. If I could leave it a negative star I would.

this was the best bar in town. the regulars are great people with a loving and friendly atmosphere but ever since the owner mike passed away, his wife had been bleeding the place dry. raising prices, lowering serving size, replaced the speaker with old pc speakers. its a damn shame

WOW…outdated small town mentality! Smells like a hog factory. Cockroaches on the bar. Filthy and disgusting. Thats low considering i love a good dive bar. Couldn’t get get service since the bartenders are outside smoking. Apparently they don’t need the business. Nor do they get a lot of business. It was dead just like their souls. OSHA needs a phone call.

This place is fabulous.you walk through the door and everyone says hi. It’s like Cheers bar but, much better weather. I have not been to a bar as friendly as this in decades. Bartenders attentive and friendly. Beer cold, very important. Clean beer lines, I know this because I have been bartending for over 17 years. Stop in and say hi.

This place is lame. Bouncers are weak. Me and my friend went here for my birthday and we got so twisted yet I was fine but my friend got sick and I was like any good friend and was there by his side and this short African American bouncer came up behind me and grab me about my throat and him and his buddies kicked me out for no reason. Then the guy bartender sucked as well and couldn’t remember anything like he too was buzzed.
