Have ordered here several times. The dining room, well just calling that a dining room is an exaggeration in itself and about covers atmosphere. The service is erratic, sometimes quick, other times, like last night, a 40 minute wait. Freaking terrible. They cannot get an order right and if you order by Uber, they largely ignore the Notes. Interestingly, you spend $60 and they add on $0.35 for housemade Chinese mustard and then forget to put it in your order. Not that is too much money but seems really miserly especially when then put in 16 packets of that industrial crap chinese mustard, is a headscratcher. Now to the food, what have determined is this place is consistently, inconsistent. Sometimes, the food is the best Chinese around, other times its barely passable. Last night, ordered boneless ribs, actually the best part, although much sweeter then normal, too sweet. Orange chicken was a great portion and mostly chicken, a decent value, but soggy with the breading falling off. The sauce and veggies were great so would be awesome if the chicken was right Also ordered the treasure appetizer which the chicken shrimp and egg roll were burnt, I dont mean super dark brown, I mean singed with black(50%) of each piece. My experience has been 50% very good, and 50% with deep remorse. Don’t know if it depends on who is cooking that night? Turnover in the kitchen, can’t maintain quality on busy nights? But definitely recommend skipping this place as the fusion and other Chinese places around offer better consistency and quality.

Just a small little place. Not much to look at but it was clean, and the person who took my order was friendly. I stopped in for lunch after a doctor’s appointment. It was my first time in the place. I ordered Mongolian Beef. It was piping hot but lacked a little flavor. I added soy sauce to perk it up. I think most people probably get take out because the restaurant itself is nothing fancy.

Ordered shrimp fried rice. There was no egg 3peas and no carrots. I guess they were out. Our Sweet and Sour Chicken had no veggies just sauce and the rice.

Our family has been going to Green China for many years. We normally get take out, and the family that owns Green China is very nice, super friendly, and wonderful.
Green China has excellent and delicious Hot and Sour Soup. I have many favorite dishes at Green China. Green China is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Germantown.

Truly some of the worst Chinese food I’ve had. The Hot and Sour soup had no flavor. It was not hot and it wasn’t sour. It had a slight off putting sweet flavor with a very bland broth. The Shrimp Egg Roll tasted like it was from a box not made at the store. Few shrimp with a slight cabbage flavor. The Scheuan Beef was very thin with almost no flavor other then a little salt and sweet bland. The fried rice was the most basic with little other then just rice. Very mediocre.

Basic American Tennessee/Chinese food. The rice will have no flavor or stock in it, no msg nor salt. You will get fresh rice with a splash of soy sauce and a bag of frozen peas and carrots added. Most main dishes are some form of meat particles in either a red or brown sugar goo.

Stopped at 2:30 today for a late lunch and the staff was conscientious, kind and patiently described a couple of their popular dishes. I arrived home and it was still HOT (temperature) and delicious! Plenty of chicken and variety of veggies! (Cooked perfectly!)
