Absolutely exceptional. This is my second visit and it did not disappoint. The quality is consistent. The flavours authentic and all dishes made with care and quality ingredients. All the dishes were delightful, full of flavour and served with kindness and efficiency. I would eat here every day if I could!

Want the best butter chicken in Edmonton? Come to Mountain Bistro! I absolutely love their butter chicken and garlic naan bread, it’s spectacular. My wife has tried several items of the Nepalese food, the momo and Nepalese fried rice are amazing. Can’t say enough about the friendly and fast service, and the prices are very reasonable as well. One of my favourite Edmonton restaurants!

Got the veggie korma, coconut rice and garlic naan. Perfect serving for 2 adults. Our server did a fantastic job and the chefs made an amazing meal. We asked for mild – medium spice level and they nailed it! Will defitneily return to try out their diverse menu 🙂

I’ve been coming to Green Beans Mountain Bistro for years, always thought it was an interesting name yet they’ve been amazing since day one. I remember when they first opened—owner visited my table was super friendly and accommodating and, they have been super hospitable since. The food has always been extremely consistent, which is rare to find. Easily one of my favourite Indian restaurants.
They do offer some North American-style options like sandwiches and fries, plus soups and other side dishes, but I always stick to my go-to Indian dishes. The service is top-notch—same friendly faces at the front every time, which says a lot about the place.
I was here again today for take out, I was not the only one (others trickled in also). I also noticed three gentlemen dining in, enjoying sandwiches and fries. Then a group of kids came in from a nearby school and ordered some food (didn’t catch what), but it just goes to show the mix of clientele they get here. Feels like a neighbourhood staple.

Beautiful place! Excellent food and great people who takes care of Mountain bistro! Honestly we have tried many many restaurants of Indian food and all the family agree this one is the best! The buyer chicken was delicious and tender and the briani incredible tasty! We recommend this place 100%! The owner is a great person as well!

I ordered the coconut chicken curry with garlic naan. The food came out super quickly, fresh and hot. I asked for medium spice and it was perfect. The naan was loaded with garlic, and I’m a garlic lover, no complaints. The Portion size was great, even had a little bit leftover to take home (it was hard to not over eat with how delicious everything was!) The server was very kind right from when I walked on and made sure to check on me periodically. It sounds like the staff enjoy working together and were having a good time in the kitchen area.
10/10 recommend stopping in here for lunch to fill up.

This place is the best Indian food in Edmonton. We always order the fish pakora and it amazing! Great service. All the staff is really friendly. Even the cook will say goodbye when you leave! If you haven’t been it’s a must try! You won’t be disappointed!

Green Beans Mountain Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Edmonton for Indians and Nepalese cuisines. We frequently visit here for authentic cuisines. We always enjoy food and hospitality here . Staff like Narayan and Pitamber make us feel really cared and valued. We appreciate their kindness and taste of their delicious meals ! We recommend this restaurant for everyone to visit and taste the food delicacies. Best food in town, easy parking and comfortable seating arrangements! Love to return again !! We are happy customers!

Went here for a gin tasting and had a great time. Even was catered by the people that cook in house and food was decent. Simple and tasty, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Solid tastes and chefs were just a good with jokes and entertainment as they were in the kitchen. Would come back for normal service sometime to see how everything else would be. Nice little spot for a quick visit!
