I don’t usually give more than 5 stars, but Green Basil Dim Sum and Pho deserves all 10! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the comforting aroma of simmering pho broth and freshly steamed dumplings.
Let’s talk food:
The pho is out of this world — rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles and tender meat. Seriously, it tastes like it’s been simmering for days (in the best way possible).
The dim sum? Absolute perfection. The dumplings were delicate yet packed with flavor. Don’t skip the shrimp har gow or the pork siu mai — they’re life-changing.
Even the drinks were on point. Super refreshing options that paired perfectly with the meal.
Service was fast, friendly, and the staff clearly care about quality. The space is cozy and inviting — great for a casual lunch or a dinner with friends.
Final verdict: If you haven’t been to Green Basil yet, you’re missing out. I’d give it more stars if I could.
10/5 stars. Will be dreaming about that pho tonight.

Im sitting enjoying my oxtail pho with a side of oxtail pho with my wife and daughter when some guy comes in who orders a small pho broth togo. This gentleman proceeds to ask for a discount because he comes here so often. The person at the register proceeds to inform the customer of their rewards program. The employee tells him enter his phone number to see if any rewards were available. The customer was clearly disappointed at the lack of a discount and requests to speak to the manager. Plot twist – he was already speaking to the manager. Clearly disappointed even further by his inability to discount his $8.00 togo order he proceeds to threaten them with a bad review. This is an entitled customer. It is disappointing to have witness this. I felt the manager conducted himself very professionally.
This place has great food. Great customer service. And great atmosphere.
Photos of the food we ordered are provided.
Don’t give the review by M. M. any value when reading through all of these reviews. This is a beloved restaurant.

We came here for the first time (it’s near Hmart, which we love!), and boy, did we enjoy the food! Going back there the soonest. Not in the picture, my favorite, steamed spareribs. It was a great birthday celebration for my aunt & me.

This place doesn’t have chicken broth and is run by guys with a bad attitude. Don’t bring your family or girlfriend here because they will disrespect you with them. They have a ‘big man’ attitude so if you’re not Vietnamese just don’t bother. There’s another pho place across the street.

Hands down our favorite cart service dim sum restaurant. Everything is hot and steamed/ baked/ fried fresh. The staff is always pleasant. We had the special fried taro with custard this weekend and it was delicious!

I’ve eaten here countless times and have plenty of recommended items to love. Also service is great and the chefs dishes are authentic!
Roasted Bork buns are incredible! Also you have to try the shaky beef, shrimp rice noodle rolls, sesame egg custards, fried sesame balls, sticky wrapped lotus leaf, vermicelli noodle- awesome!
This place can get very busy during rush hour as well so be prepared
Also the pho has never disappointed me haha

Definitely the pan fried noodles with pork was the highlight for me. Pork was excellent and the noodles were crispy. Pho was good but didn’t stand out as much. Also picked a couple items from the dim sum menu. The fried dumplings were great but my only complaint was the stemmed shrimp dumplings we got could have been a bit warmer. Overall was quite good though.

Fairfax restaurant with a modern feel, serving dim sum. The food was passable but nothing amazing. The dim sum was better than the main courses, they could have definitely added more meat to all the dim sum entries. Most of them just had one piece of meat inside, or just a small portion of cut up meat. The triangular shaped food was a bit dry, as well. The best dim sum dish, in my opinion, is the ‘meatball’ one, which I am glad to say did NOT have shrimp in it, or at least, I didn’t see them. The main plates, chicken with noodles and chicken fried rice were lackluster, and did not have that ‘zing’ and ‘restaurant’ taste that I was expecting. It tasted very much like bland ‘homecooked’ food. That was disappointing. Overall, if you really want dim sum and are not too picky, this is doable, or if you don’t want to travel far. But the dishes could be improved.

Wonderful little restaurant serving Dim Sum and Pho.
We had a great time ordering cooked items off the carts and I got a big steaming bowl Pho on a cold day.
Great experience.

The dim sum here is absolutely delicious! I loved the variety and quality of the dishes. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. While the dining area is a bit small, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. It’s a great spot to savor a leisurely meal.
