If food could talk, this sandwich would scream WOW. The Whiskey Kitchen absolutely nailed it — perfectly toasted bread, juicy meat, and that insane cheese pull says everything you need to know. Crispy waffle fries, fresh pickles, and solid portions. This place delivers big flavor and great presentation. Definitely coming back.

This was a good find on our way back from a summit hike in Lassen. The food was quick and well made. Steaks were all cooked to the temps that we requested and service was spot on! Would highly recommend this as a stop after a day on the trail.

This used to be my favorite spot in Red Bluff for date night with my wife. Naturally, I chose it for a celebration with our party of six. Unfortunately, it’s not what it used to be.

The atmosphere was so loud we could barely hear each other. Fried green beans tasted like fish, cheese curds were likely frozen, and multiple burgers (including mine) were overcooked, dry, or burned—despite asking for medium. Fries came out undercooked. One salad was so heavily seasoned it caused a coughing fit.

Even though we had a reservation, we were only given three menus and had to hunt down staff for the rest. Food aside, our waitress was the redeeming factor—attentive, kind, and quick to offer drink refills. She did try to fix things: two comped meal, that we send back. three free desserts, and a genuine apology. We left the bill at $200 and gave her the difference in tip because she deserved it. The bathroom was clean, which helped slightly.

Sadly, only two of six meals came out right. This place used to mean something to us—but after this experience, we won’t be coming back.

Food was overpriced for how it tasted. I got the meat loaf, and it was very, very salty. My husband got the steak, and it was honestly pretty good. The hostest had a terrible attitude for setting the tone of our experience. My family and I walked in. I said “hey how’s it going?” She said how many I told her 3 she asked my name told me it would be a 25 min wait. I said that would be fine and she was gone. Our waitress seemed like she was also having a bad night. i suspect it was because they had a new cook, but idk. The best worker they have was a young man he was so nice and attentive and had a great attitude.

I’ve come here a couple times. The waitress was nice and attentive but the kitchen forgot multiple items. Also had to remind the waitress that I had ordered a Coke because they seemed to have forgotten. Service took a very long time (likely due to to the kitchen rather than the waitress). Food prices definitely do not match what’s listed in the online menu- expect a 30% increase on all items. A few cocktails, apps, and mains was well over $200 with tip.

There was only one server for at least 12 tables. She did amazing. The food was great. The drinks were awesome. The atmosphere is a relaxing vibe. The bathrooms were clean.

The food isn’t bad, but its nothing special and way overpriced for what it is. I have been there 4 or 5 times and I don’t think I have ever had good service. The staff is friendly so I don’t want to give that impression, but it takes forever to get your food and its nothing to rave about. It took over 2 hours from the time we got there until the time we got the check and they were not that busy, perhaps its understaffed? Weekdays or weekends doesn’t seem to make a difference as this has been the case every time I have gone, just way too slow. After giving it another try multiple times, I can honestly say that I just don’t see the hype and how this place has so many positive reviews….

They didn’t have the AC on and it was 81 degrees when we arrived and 84 degrees when we left according to the thermostat in the lobby. People were fanning themselves with menus…. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I cannot recommend them until they step up their game. The atmosphere isn’t bad but that doesn’t really mean much if everything else is mediocre

My husband and I split a chicken club sandwich. Onion rings and fries were good! Chicken was very overcooked and dry. No sauce on the sandwich. Service was excellent!

The service was great but the food could have been better. The artichoke dip was to die for, the pork loin was very dry and I’m pretty sure it made me sick, and the chicken picatta was dry and bland the only good thing about that meal was the side of garlic fries. We went home with leftovers, the next day my husband tried the pork loin and it made him sick. Could be a lot better for the price of the food and not make people sick. Only rating two stars because our waitress was very nice and attentive, otherwise it would be 1 star and really should be 0.
