I was so glad I discovered this restaurant before the pandemic so I could continue to support and help keep them open. Now that I’ve moved away, any opportunity to grab food when I’m in town, I take it. Tofu pad Thai, tom yum soup, vermicelli, and shrimp fried rice. The list goes on and on. Everything is so good!!

Having experienced the take-out from this establishment for the first time, I was impressed with the quality of the two dishes I tried.
Both the Pad Thai Tofu and the Veggie Spring Rolls were delectable. The former came across with a plentiful tofu and peanut amount to blend with the veggies and rice noodles. The spring rolls were wrapped in rice paper and filled lettuce, tofu and vermicelli, along with other assorted veggies – very tasty.
4/5 – would recommend to anyone venturing to the east side of Memphis looking for a quality Vietnamese restaurant experience.

I’m in shock that this place is right next-door to my job, and I’ve never tried it! The absolute best food I’ve had in a while great change of pace. Food was fresh, hot and flavorful. Definitely will go back again. you owe it to yourself to give it a try!

This is my first visit to Green Bamboo. I ate the bamboo shrimp and squid, it was delicious. Beautiful on the inside, the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Our server was extremely helpful and present without being overbearing. I will definitely return here, bring several more friends and introduce them to good food. Can’t wait to try more dishes on their menu

Looking for a lil sum close to home (California) that was authentic. Everyone said to try this place out. Gotta admit, the food is tasty but not quite authentic like I was expecting. Either way the food was good and you can’t go wrong with any fish. Trust me we ordered enough food on the menu to say everything is good.

We visited the place for a quick dinner on a weekday evening. My friends tried pho while I got their lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl. The portion size was great with fresh leafs and herbs with crunchy peanuts and lemongrass chicken. Overall, the bowl had a healthy portion and I loved it.

We went for Sunday lunch and it was fully packed. They even had light live music during the lunch hour.
We ordered quail and crispy tofu for appetizers, quail was succulent and crispy tofu was good too.
I ordered their speciality noodles ,tasted their curry vermicelli and crispy noodles (from my friend’s) and they were delicious too.
Try their tender coconut (bit pricey, but worthy)
Would definitely recommend this place.

The waitress made sure we had everything we needed and even brought me a different sauce when I thought the one I had was too spicy. My pork vermicelli was great. My husband thought the Chicken Pad Thai was okay but the chicken was dry. Definitely a good restaurant.
