Please note this is a review on the food only! Wait staff was very friendly, everyone seemed to be helping each other which made it seem like it ran very efficiently. Thats were the good ends. My wife and I ordered the chicken riggie and the lasagna. The chicken riggies was ok the pink sauce rounded the tomatoes too much giving it a very unpleasant lobster bisque flavor which I did not enjoy, maybe some do like that. The lasagna was supposed to have sausage in it but there was none. It was 2-3 layers of ricotta and a massive amount off melted mozzarella just to hide there’s nothing in there. It would not have surprised me if that was a store bought lasagna.To be honest, for $70 the soda i ordered was what I enjoyed the most.

I can’t say enough about the Green Arch! My family have been regulars at this restaurant over the years and there are many reasons as to why. EXCELLENT food (I had the pork chops – their signature dish – AMAZING!), Great atmosphere (they’ve kept and maintained the look/feel of the restaurant since it began in the 1930’s) and EXCEPTIONAL wait staff. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food provided and Matt, Paul and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Oh…and don’t forget to have one of their bourbon old fashions…a cocktail they have mastered and have been making for as long as I can remember! When visiting the area, we always look forward to dining at the Green Arch and will continue to do so in the future. Bon appetite!

Overall the restaurant was very nice and the staff was helpful and kind and easy going. Bathrooms were acceptable. Overall the food just wasn’t top notch. I added blue cheese crumbles to my salad and there were far too many. I ate most without salad. If you really love blue cheese crumbles maybe this is good!. Ordered veil and it was over cooked and tough. Also had an excessive amount of cheese on it. Prices however are excellent and extremely affordable. I would give it a second chance. (Editing my review to respond to the owner below. I remember my experience well. There are 8 photos below. You will see my heavily cheesed and well done veil. I was with several people. We experienced a wide variety of food and drinks.)

My favorite meatball in town!!! Tonight my steak was overcooked and the waitress seemed rushed, but it happens and until it happens consistently, the Green Arch remains one of my favorites! I will say that the three other steaks at my table were cooked to order!

Don’t go if you’re looking for good Italian. This place is what I call false comfort. You don’t go to Taco Bell because you want authentic Mexican food, you go because you want extremely Americanized “Mexican” loaded with cheese and sauce but 0 Mexican flavorings. This place is basically the same, but for “Italian.” Spend two years in Italy, then go here, and you’ll find NOTHING is authentic. Maybe you’ll love this place, but to me it’s just another Olive Garden. Not authentic, not worth the price, and the food is merely ok. Wait staff are solid though!!!

A great place to eat or have a special dinner! The service is always great! The special tonight- Porcini filet mignon tips was fantastic! The owner takes pride in being hands-on. Last of it’s kind! This restaurant brings you back to the day when you should dress up, go out, and have a nice dinner. Great food, place to have a drink, and all at a reasonable price!
I still highly recommend this restaurant!! They have different specials every weekend. I would recommend reservations, but the food and service are always fantastic! Please like the review if you found it helpful.

Went to Brix Thursday. It was my wife’s birthday. Was looking at the menu for a place to bring her to Saturday to celebrate. A man tells me to check out this other restaurant and to make sure I get a reservation. Robby wasn’t wrong. Took my wife last night and it was amazing. Everyone is so nice. Thank you all. Being new to the area I definitely found my dinner spot for our date nights.

Food was amazing. We ordered the rib eye steak (medium cook) it was delicious! my boyfriend had potatoes and I had the pasta as side ( everything was delicious) definitely coming back . It was my boyfriends birthday and he said it was the best meal he has ever had; very pleased we had dinner here, highly recommended

As a Cortland local I am SHOCKED that I NEVER been to GREEN ARCH until recently! WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! The atmosphere was amazing and the mood we were looking for that night! And the FOOD – OH EM GEE!!!! SO SO SO SO GOOD!! Had SUCH a great time! Our waitress was new and she was so sweet and did a great job! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!! I got the chicken parm <3

The atmosphere was good, small but very pleasant and comforting. The dish I had gotten wasn’t my favorite and maybe it was just the luck of the draw but I was expecting the lasagna to be hearty but it was dry and the meat was not flavorful at all, although the arch sauce was pleasant.Very disappointed in my dish! My husband on the other hand got the NY strip and man oh man was that good!! The garlic toast was a delight as well! We also got the limoncello mascarpone and it was delicious, bit on the sweater side but good!
