Started the weekend off right with a visit to Green Acres to stock up for the weekend … cinnamon rolls (of course) but also the English muffin loaves, Turkey Pie and Shepard’s Pie. We love these homemade “pie” meals and since they are frozen we can also just bring them home with us if we don’t eat them this weekend.
Had a lovely chat with owner, Kathy, and also bought some small trinkets in the charming gift and home goods area.
No trip to Pittsburg is complete without a visit to Green Acres.

I rented an Airbnb right up the road and looked for local small business to support. While doing research all I could find was good info about Green Acres. They did not disappoint. My group of 5 went there both mornings for breakfast. The hot meals as well as the baked goods were phenomenal. Kathy was very personable and great to talk to. Not only did she know her way around breakfast, she gave me some pointers for the trail while on the sled. “Watch out for your speed and turns”. I should have listened to her because I sent my rental in the trees. She makes the best buns north of the 45 and has the best attitude to match. Couldn’t recommend them more. Thanks for a good start to my weekend.

What a great hometown breakfast store with delicious treats and beautiful handmade gifts that show how much everyone loves Pittsburgh, NH.
Had the bacon, bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and it was so perfect!
We sat on the little patio and it was a perfect start to the day before hiking.

If you was good comfort food, for a reasonable price then this place is for you.
Known for its cinnamon rolls, it is so much more. The breakfast sandwichs at just $5 are the super bargain of the entire area.
They also have trinkets, gifts and canned and jarred goods to take back home to help you remember the good times.
Reasonable amounts of parking make stopping easy.
Staff is the friendliest around.
Take a couple of minutes to drive the mile up Day Road off of Rt 3. You will not be disappointed.

Although I have not been to this country store, I wanted to leave a FIVE STAR review. My son and daughter in law recently bought a Camp in Pittsburg, NH. Through conversation they had mentioned that the cinnamon buns were delish and their little store had such cute gifts and such. This prompted me to make a call. (I called Green Acres Country store, I live in southern NH)
I asked if I could purchase a gift card to be mailed to me. The young girl on the phone was pleasant, friendly and her customer service skills were spot on. Three days later I received the gift card in the mail and was able to give it to my son and daughter in law. They will be visiting Pittsburg this week and I will be taking a ride up to stay a few days as well. I plan to visit Green Acres Country Store and anticipate some shopping and enjoying a cinnamon bun! Thank you for your hospitality from Southern NH!

We stumbled upon this place today on a family trip to Pittsburg. We stopped in for a quick bite on our way to a hike and I have to say this place has the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. They make them on homemade English muffins that are absolutely amazing! The place is itself is really nice and the staff was very friendly. They also have a good selection of fresh baked goods as well as a gift shop with some really nice stuff. We grabbed a couple of cinnamon rolls for the road and they were incredible. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Pittsburg!

Great food! The cinnamon rolls are the item they’re known for (plan one roll per two to three people). We also stopped for lunch on the ATVs (you can access from the Pittsburg trail network) and I had a Reuben panini: best sandwich north of the 45th parallel.
They also sell shirts and rustic knick knacks.
