A – Nice place, food is good. Same food you’d get at Perkins or Friendly’s. We have only ever ordered breakfast here. We’ve been here a few times . A couple of the wait staff were completely clueless about everything. Maybe they are new workers (?)

They are open for breakfast and lunch every day. Fish fry is served until 8 pm. every Friday and is delicious. The home fries seemed to be made from frozen potato squares that are deep-fried. The toast was very lightly buttered and very dry. The meat and eggs were okay! Great service makes it a fun place to eat. They need to clean the salt and pepper containers much better.

In town visiting family and looked for a local place to grab breakfast. Was not disappointed!! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! My husband had Paul’s Breakfast Skillet and said it was delicious. He also ordered a side of white toast and said the bread was amazing. I had the Eggs and Cakes with blue berry pancakes.. OMG those blue berries were huge!! And the eggs that I ordered over easy were perfectly cooked! I wish I could remember our server’s name, but it was last weekend. Regardless she and everyone else was so friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Green Acres Cafe. We went to a chain for breakfast later in our trip in Olean and Green Acres beat it hands down.

We went there on Saturday for breakfast we have been there a couple times it’s been less than what I expected I got an omelet the only had cheese in one buy a home fries or soaked in oil that you couldn’t even eat them I asked for three times for my fiances breakfast I love supporting local businesses but I won’t be back

Will never go there again. The “burger” was so small it could fit in the palm of my hand, there were hardly any mushrooms and canned ones at that are not good for a mushroom swiss burger and the cheese was almost melted off! $9 for that tiny thing!!! My husband ordered 2 over easy eggs and 1 had a little yolk to it and the other was cooked all the way through!! Maybe if the cook and waitress weren’t messing with each other things would have been cooked properly! Coffee tasted old and definitely needed to be fresher.

I’m not sure where the nearly 5 star ratings came from. The portions were small for the price and the servers were not friendly at all. It seemed like they didn’t want bothered. The place is clean and the food is pretty good, but I won’t return.

Green Acres is my favorite spot in Olean for a breakfast sandwich. I just had a burger there for the first time, and I’ll recommend lunch too. Get it before 2pm on Sunday, though! Great people and great food. Plus I love the central location by the four corners (Union & State).

Absolute terrible service. Sat at a table for 30 minutes before anyone came over to give us coffee. We were then told they ran out of coffee. They had no silverware as “everything was dirty.” There were 4 groups of people that got up and left as they waited an hour after they ordered breakfast food and never received it. They also had the audacity to charge us for 3 cups of coffee after we expressed our disappointment with their service. I would never go here again.
