Social Profile:

Greek Souvlaki was founded in 1972 by Lee and Mary Paulos. They were the first to bring yeeros (gyros) to Utah. It was a family visit back to Greece that sparked the idea of a restaurant. Lee’s brother, Tasos Petropoulos, owned a small restaurant serving yeeros in Pireaus and Lee noticed that the tourists loved them. At first, Greek Souvlaki only sold three items: yeeros (gyro), souvlaki, and beefteki. The red sauce was the specialty sauce, in fact white sauce was added many years later! With Mary’s home made recipes and Lee’s inventive and creative mind, they added many other items to their menu. The business has grown with two additional stores since Lee and Mary retired in the year 2000. Great customer service, good quality products, …

Their gyros are awesome and if you can’t decide on sauces (red or tzaziki/white), they’ll go half and half and I always do that because I like both equally. The plate is a great value for the crazy amount of food you get. Everything can be reheated pretty easily (oven for fries, microwave the rest). Their fry sauce is uniquely good. I’m not sure what they add to it, but it has a bit of a kick! Always very consistent.

Young lady was nice and described meal items well. We went thru the drive thru at 850 pm on a Saturday night. I ordered a greek salad with chicken. Wait was average. I didn’t inspect my food but I should have. Burnt chicken on my salad and didn’t know it didn’t come with a pita and that was my fault for not asking. I felt like this was a very weak salad as well. Just not a good food experience at all unfortunately. Service and speed was fine just a major food let down.

One of our favorite greek places. Food is VERY heavy. A full combo can be $15-25 /w sauces/add ons, but for us it’s usually 2-3 portions, so ultimately not bad. Combo can feed two easily.

Our favorite is the Gyro with extra tzatziki sauce. The lemon soup is also really good. The chicken in it is over cooked (tough/chewy) but the rest of the soup is still well worth it.

Fries and rice are also good. I mix the Tzatziki sauce into it. What can i say, i love that sauce!

Chicken gyro was delicious. The white yogurt sauce was good. Lots of fries. Came out fast. I recommend. It’s our office favorite for some.

Used to have good food, now the lemon soup has no lemon in it and the dolmas are dried out and disgusting. At this point, I’ve wasted $30 on completely inedible food.
I have ARFID and. This was one of the few things I could eat. Now I’m screwed.

If it wasn’t for the billboard I probably would have never found this place. I was craving quality drive-thru and boy did y’all deliver! Yummm.

I ordered the chicken souvlaki “plate” which I thought came with pita bread but it didn’t. It did come with fries, rice, and a salad. It was really filling, I didn’t even need the pita bread. The rice, zucchini, and onions were all extra delicious in my opinion. The Greek salad dressing and their red vinaigrette weren’t my favorite, but the “white sauce” made with sour cream and cucumbers was definitely worth the .79 extra.

I forgot to take photos of my before pic, here are some of the salad and almost gone leftovers.

Will definitely be back again, hopefully get to try the pita bread.

My favourite dolmates in the world! And that is comparing with restaurants in Connecticut and New York! I love the flavours and the way they serve them hot. These are home-made nothing squishy out of a can. Also love the gyro with tzatziki sauce

Came at 1:30 pm and it wasn’t busy inside. Service was great, place was clean and the lemon chicken soup we had was super hot and fantastic! Restaurant has dine in, carry out or a drive through window. Drive through seemed to be busy while we were there. The restaurant has been in this location for awhile, I remember coming here frequently about fifteen years ago. The gyros with tzatziki are delightful as well. You get a choice of white or red sauce on your gyro.
