A group of friends realized the American dream that many immigrants had — they opened their own business after many years of hard work. From humble beginnings they grew their business into the most popular Greek restaurant in the United States. Since 1971, the same owners continue with the founding principles of great food, great service, and value. From Greece they select and ship to their restaurants the highest quality extra virgin olive oil, superior wines the best cheeses, herbs, and seafood.
Taverna-style eatery serving family-style Greek & Mediterranean comfort food mainstays.

A Little History of Our Authentic Greek Restaurant
Reviews
I tried this spot upon recommendation of friends.
The provided curbside valet, which is great considering the area parking. This was a plus.
The interior was clean and had an interesting display when checking in with Host. The atmosphere was a little too busy and loud for my taste but, works for the overall experience.
The food selection was wonderful. The flavors were very specific to the dish being so different. Which is not always the case. Very delicious.
The service was professional and efficient. Too busy for that small talk or joking. Which me and my party were chatty.
The desserts were very tasty as well.
I will be back for more.
We chose the Family Style option and it was a feast. Great choices for appetizers, entrees and desserts. Even Greek coffee! Plus we had leftovers for our poor college-age kids to take home.
Great experience. The bill was $495 (including 3 bottles of vino).
The menu is extensive yet stays true to its Greek roots, offering a wide range of authentic, flavorful dishes. One of the best parts is their option for combo plates, which is always a great deal, especially when bringing friends along. It allows everyone to try a little bit of everything and share in the experience. Overall, this place consistently delivers on both food and service, making it a must-visit.
Didn’t love the hummus/fish/feta dip platter-it looks pretty but the taste didn’t hit right. Will try a different appetizer next time.
Highly recommend this hidden gem just south of the loop – a very fun and delicious meal with excellent family atmosphere vibes.
The food hits the Greek comfort-food staples just right — think savory lamb orzo, tender moussaka, dolmades, fresh grilled seafood, and plenty of pita to go with creamy tzatziki. I tried a few things and each dish had that hearty, satisfying quality you want from Mediterranean cooking, with bold flavors and generous portions that make it feel like a feast rather than just dinner.
Atmosphere-wise, it’s energetic and a little bustling — you’ll hear plenty of “Opa!” and laughter bouncing around — so it’s perfect with friends or family, especially before a show or game nearby. Service was friendly and efficient, and the valet parking is a nice convenience in the busy neighborhood.
It’s not a quiet, upscale dinner spot — it leans into the fun, classic Greek-restaurant experience — but that’s part of its charm. If you’re after honest, flavorful Greek food and a lively dinner scene in Greektown, this is one that’s still worth a visit.
