When I got home and realized they’d messed up my order, I called the restaurant and spoke with Alex. He asked me to send a photo of the food, which I did, and he admitted the order was incorrect. He offered a refund AND a free gyros sandwich replacement. I asked for credit for two sandwiches instead since I paid in cash. He said could refund it to any credit card if I read him the numbers. No one in their right mind would give ANYONE a credit card number over the phone. So I asked him if he could just replace it to two sandwiches to which he agreed and said he wrote it down.
However, when I returned on Sunday to collect my “credit,” I was met by Mirna, who told me it was only good for one sandwich. When I asked to speak to Alex, she claimed he was “busy” and wouldn’t come out. She insisted she had spoken to him and that the offer was still just for one sandwich. I was lied to. No one needs to deal with this especially After a long day at work.
This place really needs to improve its customer service. I have been trying to contact George for 3 days now only to be met with hesitation, staff behaving like secret service is laughable. Clearly it’s not about the money but the principle.
Based on the reviews I’ve seen, it appears that Gregory, the owner, copy-pastes generic responses. They lack a personal touch and don’t address the individual customer’s experience or offer a solution.
Today around 6:30 PM, I was in line to try Greek chicken for the first time when an elderly gentleman—well-dressed and respectful—asked the cashier for the bathroom code. Instead of responding with basic courtesy, the cashier snapped at him in a rude tone, questioning whether he was a customer and if he intended to buy anything.
I was disturbed by the lack of respect shown, but what truly crossed the line was the cashier continuing to bad-mouth the man after he had left. This behavior was not only unprofessional—it was mean-spirited and completely unacceptable. I was so put off by the interaction that I walked out without ordering and will not be returning.
To make matters worse, when I called to report the incident, the same person—who identified himself as the manager—flatly denied the interaction ever happened, despite it occurring less than five minutes prior. If this individual is indeed the manager, I strongly urge you to reconsider whether he is fit to represent your establishment.
I rarely complain, but this experience left me genuinely angry and disappointed. I understand enforcing a “customers only” bathroom policy, but it should be applied with discretion and basic human decency. What I witnessed today was neither.
