On Friday, January 10, 2025, I visited Greedy’s Restaurant in West Philadelphia. The restaurant caught my eye with its charming exterior decor, making it hard to resist stepping inside. Notably, the menus were accessible via a barcode, and I observed that there were no traditional takeout menus available. Upon entering, I was greeted by a bright and inviting atmosphere, and the host was very friendly.
While I had my heart set on ordering salmon and shrimp, I discovered that by 8:30 PM, several menu items were no longer available, which meant I wouldn’t get to try the salmon. Instead, I opted for turkey chops and fried shrimp served with yellow rice. Unfortunately, the turkey chops were a bit dry, the rice was excessively salty, and the cabbage lacked flavor. Despite this experience, I’m eager to return and try the salmon on my next visit.

So your review shouldn’t be for the restaurant it should be with Ubereats! That’s were you would talked to them regarding your money! I found this place online while visiting a friend in Philly and I had a great experience! I’m from the south-south and I was really looking for the closest thing to a home cooked meal while in Philly. I am glad I came across this place on a Sunday evening. I walked in and rang the bell and someone came to assist me. I originally came for the turkey wings but they didn’t have any. So I decided to order the chicken wings, baked Mac and cheese, and green beans with an additional side of yams. Overall, the food was good and well seasoned. I’ve never had yams with cherries and pineapples but it was good! Everything was fresh and well cooked. I didn’t have to wait long and the price was reasonable for the portion size. Overall, I’d recommend coming here again.

Order pick up from this restaurant on Uber eats for the first time . The fried fish is really good . Everything was good lol .

Update so I did have to update it with four starz I got a chicken wing platter with yams and Mac and cheese and the Mac and cheese didn’t have any cheese it in . I’m not sure if they ran out of cheese but they should’ve communicated that so I could’ve picked a different side . The yams are not done cooking yet and the only thing I ate was the chicken wings . The Mac and cheese and yams just wasn’t good at all . Must be having a bad day or something so that why it’s 4 stars and not 3 .

The owner was amazing! This was my wife and I first time ever and just the service alone meant everything to us! Most times you walk into an establishment and you aren’t greeted or even acknowledged! Her spirit was pleasant and the cool back there was doing his thing. Would we come back heck yes!!

Supported Greedys on Sunday March 12,2023 at 8:14pm. Spent 44.00 on two platters. For that amount the food should be good & cooked right. Chicken was so greasy with hair on the wings,. Instead of golden brown the skin on the wings was bloody and bruised with black meat inside, dark like the meat was bad! Not appealing or tasty looking at all. String beans were cold straight through, from top to bottom of platter! Why I have to go home and heat up String beans .Mac and cheese was ok, but some type of after taste like made with powder milk. Maybe they were ready to close, but if the quality ain’t going to be right. Just say I’m not taking any more orders at this time.

Food always taste incredible . I always order the same thing the salmon rice bowl. In previous orders I received whole pieces of salmon like the ones depicted in the picture on uber eats. Just recently I ordered it and got a bowl full of rice and a few bits of salmon. Very unsatisfied with quality for the price $27 delivery included . If I wasnt so hungry I would take it back.

I order sweet tai chilli wings with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I wanted yams but the cashier informed me that it would be an hour wait so I got the greens instead. The wait was about 15 minutes long and the cashier was friendly, however I am highly disappointed with the baked macaroni and cheese, it is extremely bland and the greens are very salty.. The Tai wings are a 7.5/10. The macaroni 1/10 and the greens 6/10.

I tried to try a new food place and I am very disappointed. I couldn’t enjoy my salmon because every bite I had to stop chewing to to remove a bone smh. The mac and cheese was ok but other than that I feel it was a waste of $30

Macaroni and cheese noodles was mushy it’s not crunchy at all the chicken chops the yellow rice is bland and the greens horrible and I didn’t get no utensils never again.
