Despite being a busy Friday afternoon, the waitstaff & service were the best I have ever experienced. While waiting for a carry out, I was able to observe most of the waitstaff – they were polite, friendly & genuinely happy to be there. I saw the waitstaff go above & beyond to make sure everything was great for their customers. Not common these days. I saw them help the elderly navigate the credit card machine with patience & a smile. They greeted all the ‘regulars’ by name when they came in & made them feel welcome. Truly, nice people. I will definitely return.

20250711 Ordered the grilled chicken Greek salad to go. First of all, the young lady who took my order was very nice. The salad was ready in less than 5 mins, it felt like. The portion was huge, but it was 80% iceberg lettuce. It wasn’t really a Greek salad asides from the feta cheese, olives and pepper. I never had a Greek salad with chickpeas. The grilled chicken was delicious, and my finicky pup liked it. . I don’t recommend the grilled chicken Greek salad.

We had dinner there. The French fries were great- lightly breaded, crispy. The cod dinner was amazing. The shrimp dinner was above average. The turkey dinner was excellent. The Gyro dinner was too much. The Greek side salad was a meal itself. The hot fudge sundae was perfect. The baklava was a little hard but flaky, sticky, rich and sweet. Our server was attentive and fun.

I ordered the Philly steak with the regular fries. I did not expect the taste to be good. The sliced meat and the bun went really well together.

My friend ordered the gyro lamb as well, and the meat was not smelly at all, which is good news since I am very sensitive to smells.

Paid $16.00 for a carry out grilled chicken Greek salad that had 5 tiny pieces of chicken on it. Also charged us extra for 4 tiny slices of cucumber This is us giving them a second chance. Love their dressing but now we will get our salads elsewhere.

The omelets we got were good but not the best I’ve had. Not a terrible spot. Wish they would have added plastic ware with our carry out order.

Tasty eggs and hearty rye toast this morning; a couple weeks ago we had a delicious meaty omelette. Fast courteous service.
11 March 2023 UPDATE: Ashley F was our waitress, super fast service even though the place was packed. Good hot coffee. Hottest, cheesiest farmers omelette ever; the rye toast still is hard to beat.

After decades of eating here, this officially is my last day dining at this restaurant the Greek aisle restaurant in Brighton. I will not mention names because this is not a complementary report. Usually, I refuse to write anything at all about the place, but this was little too much today.
When I entered the facility, I asked the waitress for a booth so I’ll be down the hallway from the bathroom, but she said since they seat people in sections, she said I have to go to her section so I said fine and I was seated at a table and chairs with a booth intersections right next to us so I couldn’t have offered the booth. I don’t know. This waitress would be our waitress and it was a big mistake. She came quickly to ask for her order when we didn’t have time to see the menu so we asked her to wait until later. My wife ordered the chicken and ordered the Zeus burger, but with the extreme prices of beverages, we preferred water and nothing else no sides nada.

Wife soup was cold when we were able to finally get the waitresses attention. She returned it and it was slightly warmer but not to an appetizing temperature. With no silverware, we had to ask her for silverware and her interest is in us faded very quickly after the soup incident , she was basically worthless. All the other customers were greeted really nicely. She returned attention to them to see if everything was OK. Well, we sat there with nothing to be able to communicate anything with her.
When the food was delivered, orange look good but oh did they do something to the recipe. The old orange chicken was chicken breast covered in a light breaded crust and served with orange sauce. This new chicken is pictured below or above was chicken thigh and the flavor was the most disgusting flavor I’ve ever tasted , it tasted like crude oil it taste like chemicals or anything that would recognize but the flavor was so bad. We would not take any of it home. We just left it there.

When my wife went to pay cash for our bill, she made her comments about our services and so on, and the cashier at that time, another person did nothing to contact the manager to appease are disappointment in me. There was no attempt to satisfy our disappointment and complaint. The gal then tried to charge my wife the credit card charge that was not the cash charge that they put all over the bill because you have to pay an extra fee if you use the credit card. My wife pointed it out to her and she said my wife was wrong that that was the price well opening up the cash receipt. The girl obviously made a mistake. She didn’t even have the nicety to apologize for her mistake. So based on nonservice terrible food my burger was a burger, so I’m not gonna issue any complaints on that but what we went through in terms of the issues with our meal and the extent I mean five dollars for an additional french fry no thank you that’s too expensive. That’s a joke. So, Wife and I after decades of coming here enjoying the food said goodbye the taste that was left in the mouth by the time we got home because I did try her orange chicken. I will never forget that horrible tastes. You decide if you want to go here dying, but you will not have my support best to your future experiences.

Place was packed. Had high hopes, based on friends who love this place. But, the food was ordinary. Great service, though.
