We stopped here on the way back from a trip to New Orleans. We needed a meal that was at least somewhat healthy. We got the salad bar. It was excellent. It was well stocked and well maintained even though it was 8pm when we were there. It even had fried catfish and ice-cream. The restaurant is a little off both I-55 and I-57.

You know it’s gonna be an adventure when the first thing they ask is “Smoking or non-smoking?” It was like I was back in elementary school again! In the non-smoking section I did NOT smell any smoke! It was quite amazing!
I went on a Sunday at 6:30 so the biggest steak left was a 12 oz Delmonico. It was a choice grade with quite a bit of grizzle but cooked to perfection. The salad bar had some very fresh veggies- I’d swear they came from someone’s garden!
They were constantly cleaning and it felt well kept for an older establishment. The hot bar had seen better hours and the ice milk was …well ice milk- no cream.
We won’t be back to this area but if we lived here we would come for the smiles and family atmosphere.

Stopped in for dinner as we were traveling through. So glad we did! They have a wonderful salad, dessert and small hot food bar. Everything was fresh, definitely the place to stop for salad.
We also ordered the pork chop and delmonico steak entrees. Both were grilled to perfection and so flavorful. This will be where we stop next time we come through hungry. Prices were great and they are open on Sunday although some websites say they are closed.

Usually when I go the catfish be delicious this time it was absolutely horrible. Me and my best friend went there to eat and it was the worst fish ever it was nothing in the inside..it was over cooked it was just bad I hated even giving the one start cause honestly it wasn’t worth any star!!!!

Good food, good sized portions, and a good salad bar! Desert bar was a bit lack luster though, basically just a sundae bar, but the kids loved it!

Hit with nasty cigarette smoke as soon as you walk through the door! Friend had the Grecian steak and it was grizzly. Waitress was very nice. Sald bar ok. Hot bar sausage with peppers and onions were basically mush. Overall ok but I won’t be back
