I used to never have a bad sandwich from here but I’ve seen recently management has changed. I had to change my review based on the quality of the service and food decreasing. It used to be a spot I come to often. They’ve also added an extra $1 fee to my card payments without notifying me until I asked when they started doing that.

Wow I can’t believe I have to change my review for this place. 7 years ago I gave it 5 stars and I’ve been coming here for years and years. Ever since new management took over the quality of the food has suffered greatly.
My go-to sandwich was the steak n cheese. Now it’s been getting worse and worse. Not even edible at this point. Hard pieces of fat. It’s disgusting.

Working overnights, it can be challenging to find decent food late night. The heroes and rolls here are sooooo good. Never a let down and they’re open late. I’m a NYorker and they remind me a lot of home in the way they make their hot and cold sandwiches. Totally recommend.

Egg sandwich is really good also the steak sandwiches are great. Reasonable prices on the menu items. The only thing I don’t like about this place is the fact that they charge you a fee to pay by credit card no matter what you spend. Otherwise highly recommended.

Horrible staff! I used to come here all the time, but never will again. The tall young Indian guy who took my order over the phone, said he never received my order after I waited for 40 minutes. He shrugged his shoulders and did nothing to rectify the situation. No too mention that the guy who was on the grill was wiping the sweat off his forehead and then touching sub rolls with the same gloved hand. Cross contamination and poor food handling at its finest! Stay away from this place!!!!

Best kept secret in West Haven. Been going here for years not paying attention to their vast menu of hot and cold deli sandwiches. One day I saw someone eating a steak and cheese here and thought I’d order one myself. Folks lemme tell you.. Best sandwich in the area hands down. Best late night cheese steak you can get. Great prices. Open 24/7. Great spot for breakfast near the highway when you are on the go. Full service grocery store, truck drivers paradise. You can’t beat it!

But this local store which gets their steak from Philly, makes someone from Philly like myself.. feel right at home! The bread is made from New York City shipped fresh every morning and you can’t beat that. The service was fast, friendly, and an overall quality experience. Look no further than this joint, when it’s late and you need a Philly fix! Not only does Greatway do philly cheese steaks but they have a huge variety of every hot and cold sandwich you can pretty much think of! with toppings and all. I go every morning for a steak and egg sandwich and overall this is definitely a local spot you wanna hit up. Conveniently located off of I-95 exit 42, on Saw Mill Rd.
