Had a wonderful time and experience all around. Stopped in to grab a quick bite for the wife and I, and I found a great spot. Between the folks working and the food being served I was extremely impressed. The walls are covered with local art which is rather welcoming.

The sandwich was terrific, though not better than most. I ordered the Super Greater Gtinder, which is their equivalent of an Italian sub.
There was “spiced luncheon meat” in it– not sure what that is but fairly confident it’s a processed meat. The ham was the same.
Good sandwich, but the cold cuts were second or third tier.
The staff was super nice
and helpful.
The restaurant was extremely tidy.
Go there and get some soup to go with your sandwich.

I wish I could say that my GreaterGrinder was good but it just wasn’t. I waited over 20mins with only a handful of customers so I saw reason for that wait. My sandwich had no taste, nothing just taste of meat and cheese, I expected maybe they have a flavor all their own, a sauce or an herb mix, salt or pepper maybe oil vinegar? Nothing, not even mayo. I don’t have the $ to eat out much, when I do get that opportunity to eat out I’m disappointed. Took

Ordered a half steak sub the sub was toasted with the tomato and lettuce on the sub we all know that lettuce and tomato release water! I had a toasted soggy steakum sub with a thin piece of steakum for 10bucks! Will not eat here ever again!!! But if you like bad food give it a try

Oh my childhood!!!!! Went in today and had what I used to have with my mom when she was still alive and was transported back in time!!!! The tuna sub was amazing per usual!!!! The ingredients were fresh!!! The restaurant was clean and smelled great!!!! This is the spot!!!!

Order steak and cheese sandwich tonight from this organization the GrubHub very unsatisfactory. Just got a steak and cheese sandwich with hot and sweet peppers. I’m wondering what happened to the lettuce tomato mayonnaise and what have you comes on a sandwich call this organization they told me I had to pick out what I wanted to put on a sandwich. This is very unsatisfactory. This should come that way I should be refunded or something. I will never order from this place again. They are sorry as hell do not order from them.

The servers today at 12:30 PM on a Saturday at the location on high street was the worst subs i have ever eatand from greater grinders in my entire 30 years of dealing with greater grinders. I know the owner’s Bob and Martin for years. I wish they were on. Greater grinders

Not the same Super Greater Grinder since the ownership changed. Something is missing, the taste is not the same. The Greater Grinder over on Azalea in Norfolk has maintained the standard of its original owner/s. Been going to the Norfolk location/s since 1980.

Order 6″ Steak and Cheese then went to restroom and then sat down, now no customers were there when I walked in and it was 11:04am customers started coming in as I was waiting for my food. I didn’t get food till 11:36am. Looked disappointing soon as I unwrapped it. I assumed my sub would be toasted and then my lettuce and tomatoes would be added just my assumption but anyway could tell that they cooked a single steakum no salt or pepper or anything then made up my sub with onions lettuce, tomatoes and peppers and put it in oven.. was really toasty and dry and plain. My tomatoes and lettuce were soft mushy and very warm. I went ask for Mayo packs and salt and pepper but it was just not good I ate 3 bites and wrapped it back up and left. I paid almost $11 for something I didn’t eat…I’m glad I didn’t get a whole sub maybe i expected to much this was my first time at this location. Quite a few customers came in to this location but I won’t be going back to that location.
